Surprised there's no thread for these. Looking very tempting. 5 years of support which is great for those who keep our phones long-term. Do like my Pixel 4a but do find it a little underpowered and battery life isn't brilliant. Probably will be the regular 6 its bit more affordable. Estimated pricing is €649 the Pro is a little pricey for me at €899. Hopefully they do a good launch offer like the Pixel 5. Possibility it won't be on the Irish Google store for launch though, only the UK site has info up. Should be able to get it up north I guess or Argos may have it.

not sure i have 5g... and it will probably be a no to wifi calling.. i don't really need either.. , most of my connectivity is wifi in the house/office.. and lte is fine for car etc for streaming
Just switched from gomo back to eir proper for the 5G option, 15 euro per month for sim only plan all inclusive or 10 euro pm as an add on to an existing contract. Anything connected to 3 barely works in my area and Vodafone don't seem to have any value to their plans.
Anyone got a case for 6 or 6pro yet? Any recommendations for a particular brand? Ty
Need to move away from Virgin Media myself, they are brutal, Customer Service gone to shite also, when you roam with VM you can't connect to the local 4G network and if there is no 3G signal your connect to Edge which is slower than 56k dialup

On GoMo €9.99 since the start (two years ago now)! Have a Xiaomi Poco F3 5G and am getting 5G here in the apartment whereas I never got it with the S21 Ultra I had. If I can get my hands on a Pixel 6 Pro I hope it will pick up 5G in the apartment as well! Even better it is only costing me €9.99 a month!
Pity! Is it the Pixel 6 Pro or the ordinary 6? If you can't sell it could you swap it for a Xiaomi Poco F3 5G (8GB\256GB) by any chance!?

My Pixel 6 hasn't shipped yet, but it still has a delivery date of 28th-29th. Case shipped a half hour ago so still a chance it will ship in time I hope.
Yep! I see the icon up over the network bars a lot and I saw it many times when I had the S21 Ultra as well. 100% getting some form of 5G on the basic GoMo SIM I have. In the GoMo thread on here others were seeing it on their phones as well.
How do you compare it to the P30? Is the camera much better??
my case shipped late Sunday night and arrived yesterday from google, so still time for it to ship today and be with you friday... im waiting on my pro to ship and its still saying 28th/29th... if it doesnt ship my end of day won't make it by Friday is my guess.. but some have said last year they had overnight shipping.. its shipping with a charger.. i don't know why they bothered sending me the case on its own... would have made more sense to keep it all together in one shipment..
Haven't used the camera much as I was setting it up yesterday and logging into my apps.
The night sight camera is definitely better though.
Just an FYI on this. I did the same last year for the Pixel 5 but Eir didn't support the phone so 5G never worked. I'm hoping this changes with the Pixel 6 but don't be surprised if you're not seeing the phone connect to 5G
The 5G on GoMo is limited to 100mbps. You will be connecting to eir's 5G but you won't be getting 5G speeds.

Mine landed yesterday evening regular 6. Only took it out of the box to have a quick look at but don't think I'll swap over to it until I get a case and screen protector on it. I didn't think it felt to slippy in hand so tempted to chance it though. I've never broken a phone and I used to use phones with no cases until I got a Oneplus 5 that was like a wet bar of soap to hold onto.
Screen protectors from Amazon UK will get here by Friday but the Spigen case I ordered ordered from Germany has slipped from Friday to next week. Ordered a few other bits with it while I was paying postage. Should have just ordered it by it's self and I'd have it already. I stalled on ordering it to as I was considering ordering the Pro instead but I never managed to get an order through.
Might be for best, telephoto lens was the main reason I'd go for it but not really worth the extra €250. Bigger screen is nice though and the phone it's self is only slightly bigger with the thinner bezels but I never liked any curved screen phones I've handled.
I'll be up north over the weekend so might see if I can pick up the official case in one of the retailers up there. Can't find it listed on any of their sites yet but would have assumed they'd carry them.
Yea 48 is a great deal. I generally have no issues with coverage. Not overly bothered about 5G 4G is plenty fast. Only had coverage for calls in work though no data but had wifi so was fine. IT are after breaking the staff wifi while moving the servers though and it hasn't been fixed yet so got a second vodafone SIM to try out. Have 4G with vodafone in work and coverage out and about in general is a little better. If they fix the wifi in work I don't really need it but for the sake of €12 a month to have more consistent coverage it may be worth it.

Black Pixel 6 shipped a half-hour ago. Ordered on the 21st so feel very lucky to be getting it on time when others who ordered before me, are being delayed.

Mine says delivered by 28 Oct but hasn't even shipped yet so doubt it.
