Surprised there's no thread for these. Looking very tempting. 5 years of support which is great for those who keep our phones long-term. Do like my Pixel 4a but do find it a little underpowered and battery life isn't brilliant. Probably will be the regular 6 its bit more affordable. Estimated pricing is €649 the Pro is a little pricey for me at €899. Hopefully they do a good launch offer like the Pixel 5. Possibility it won't be on the Irish Google store for launch though, only the UK site has info up. Should be able to get it up north I guess or Argos may have it.

Have had no money taken yet according to my banking app (PTSB). Ordered black Pixel 6 on 21st and website still says not yet dispatched. It says it will be Delivered by 28–29 Oct still, but based on other people's stories, I am guessing this will probably slip yet.
Seeing some stories on Reddit from Irish people saying theirs has been moved significantly back, as far as the end of November from someone who ordered on launch night. worrying stuff.

That's the case for me. I preordered on the 19th, got an original delivery time of 26/27th which then slipped to 28/29th and it was updated again today to 30th Nov - 1st Dec which is a bit disappointing!
Are you waiting on the black 6 aswell rather than the Pro? Will be very disappointed if it gets delayed but if others who ordered before me have had theirs put back, then no doubt mine will follow.

It did start at Tue/Wed, then moved to Wed/Thu before that, though.
Not to freak out anyone, but last year with the Pixel 5, I ordered on release night and my date kept moving back. Eventually Google told me that my order had been cancelled. I quickly ordered on Vodafone to get the Bose offer, and then out of the blue my Google order was shipped and arrived. It really does seem to be a bit of a lottery.
I ordered the standard on 21 Oct, money was taken (PTSB) on Saturday night 23/10 not a word since. Still showing 28 Oct - 1 Nov
Unfortunately the global supply chain has gone to **** since the beginning of the pandemic asked a decathlon customer service rep the other day when they would have bikes back in stock in Dublin and he said there European warehouses are empty with no replenishment date that he can see.
Hopefully Google though doesn't have such an issue with supplying what people have ordered.
Doesn't seem to be any consistency with which phones are delayed so as both 6 and 6 Pro have been delayed with different people.
Mind me asking if you're in Ireland where you ordered the Spiegen from?

My Google 6 Pro arrived today, very happy with it.
I'm switching back from a fold 3 so it's going to be a tough change back but I'm looking forward to having a Google camera back, all my best photos came from pixels.
Haven't really had time to play with it yet just finished setting it up there. Any questions let me know.

If you don't mind, can you use the call screening feature in Ireland? I believe it answers a call and turns text to speech to see if you want to answer it. Probably an option when recieving a call.
Also, I wonder if it has the feature which stays on a call if you are waiting to speak to customer support and informs you when you get through to an actual human.
Just curious if we'll get them or if they are America only. Presumably you can set your region to US and it'll work, but this will be my first Pixel so I am just wondering if we get them or not!

Ordered one from Amazon which arrived today as my Google case was supposed to ship after my phone. Hopefully I'll have the phone to put into it soon! Lots of comments on Reddit and in reviews about it being heavy. Is it noticeable in your opinion?

I haven't used it properly yet as I don't want to drop it without a case and that's not arriving until Friday.
To me it feels slightly heavier an maybe a bit thicker than my P30 Pro but as I was setting it up and logging into my apps I held it one handed and had no issues.
I did keep putting my thumb in the wrong spot for the scanner though as it is a bit higher on the screen than on the P30 Pro.
Phone is very snappy and I really like the themes (or whatever they're called) for the app icons. Unfortunately not every app is compatible but I hope they all get on board as it gives the home screen a nice clean look.
You can restore from your current phone using the bundled USB C to USB C cable which is handy.
This article says the charger needs to support the PD PPS standard. Something like this one maybe? There are 30W, 45W and 65W versions of it I think.

Mine is arriving tomorrow but having second thoughts about it now. I might send it back and hang on to what I have for another year. Has anyone ever returned anything to Google before? They say you need to pay for return postage but when you go to create a return they don't tell you how much that is.
