Surprised there's no thread for these. Looking very tempting. 5 years of support which is great for those who keep our phones long-term. Do like my Pixel 4a but do find it a little underpowered and battery life isn't brilliant. Probably will be the regular 6 its bit more affordable. Estimated pricing is €649 the Pro is a little pricey for me at €899. Hopefully they do a good launch offer like the Pixel 5. Possibility it won't be on the Irish Google store for launch though, only the UK site has info up. Should be able to get it up north I guess or Argos may have it.

It's always the same. Go on a waitlist at Vodafone and you'll be notified the day after something is back in stock.
Just got charged for my P6 Pro, so not too far behind everyone else.
Finally managed to get my order in for the pro!
Delivery estimate is the 23-24 November.
They've dispatched my charger plug now, but my phone still hasn't shipped.
Yup, managed to order one and that's the same date I get too.
Those stupid cúnts at avantcard have declined the payment from the Google Store.
I don't know what to do, as nothing will work and I can't even update details on the card.
Can I buy store credit or something? 😥
Camera on the 6 pro looks phenomenal hopefully same on regular 6.
Keep trying the refresh but no luck so far. Pixel 6 is still in stock but I think its the Pro i'm after. Seems like only the black has the 256gb option and thats the one i'd choose if it were available
anyones pro shop yet?
I thought the same but I've had the 256GB OnePlus 7T Pro for the past two years and I've only now reached the 128GBs. Obviously it depends on your usage and if you download a lot of movies or games but I ended up opting for the 128GB 6 Pro this time around as it seems like it's plenty for most people especially with cloud storage being so prevalent.
I notice the Americans and Australians have a 512GB option available. Any reason why that's not available in Europe?
From reading comments online over the years I get the impression that in general us Europeans have much better value for money mobile phone plans with data being extremely cheap and in many cases unlimited or close enough to it. The US and Australia however seem to be much more expensive with mobile data costs so there may be more of a demand to store data locally on the phone compared to us here.
That's just my uninformed opinion I could be totally wrong and am open to correction by someone more knowledgeable.
Thanks Aokay, i've actually now managed to pre-order a 128gb Stormy Black that popped back up in stock.. Figure that option is better than nowt since the larger capacity options dont seem to be coming in stock. Its the lack of a microSD slot that has me concerned about future storage issues
If you want extra storage you can sign up to Google One, to make it really cheap set up another Google account and set it to somewhere cheap like Turkey as I have done.
Another option would be to buy an office 365 license from an eBay seller for cheap as I have also done that way you get all the office apps and 1TB of storage, I've had mine for years and it still works.
I can't believe that refresh method works. I've been waiting a few days on the waiting list, kept refreshing for a few minutes and it popped up in stock and I've now checked out with a delivery date of the 23-25th of November (which is fine with me). I just wanted to get in on time for the free bose headphones tbh!
I definitely wouldn't have bought it if it weren't for the offer for the Bose headphones. The only additional purchase I will make Will be to get an Anker 30w USB charger off Amazon not much of a saving as it's currently 22 euro but still.
same, I was already considering but that deal made it a no brainer for me
Same with me, if the waiting list never told me it was available, I don't even think I'd have bought it. Luckily I saw on this thread to keep refreshing... I did want it, but the headphones were the push I needed.
Due out delivery today.
Has anyone who banks with PTSB had the money come out yet? Afraid the authorization is going to cause me issues. No sign of shipping yet and is supposed to be delivered by 28th/29th.
I used PTSB. It didn't ask me for authentication for the payment. Money came out on Saturday.
Perfect. Appreciate the response. Can relax a little now. Just sorry I didn't order earlier. I only found out Ireland was getting it on the 21st and ordered straight away. Was watching the coverage over the last few months but everyone thought we wouldn't be getting it.
No big deal that I have to wait a day or two more I suppose!
Thanks again!
Same for me, went out on Saturday.
Cheers Mossie. Roll on delivery.
My Huawei P30 Pro Super Charging 40w charger is still in perfect nick. Should i have a problem using this?
Seems to be going cheaper than the Anker/Google ones been spouted. Are its capabilities just bound to Huawei devices?

I suspect you will only get 20w out of the p30 charger to the pixel which will be fine. The extra ten watts isn’t buying you a lot from Google.
interesting looking at the reviews of the pro. They are saying mostly it’s great especially given the price. Couple of reviews mentioned the finger print sensor as being sluggish and one or two mention average battery life. One mentioned they had 70 percentage battery at the end of the day. All mentioned a few bugs which are being ironed out with updates. Seems video is still lacking compared to photos but maybe this will also improve with updates as Google made quite a big deal about it now being able to apply computational algorithms to video in real time.
I'd get the charger, it would bother me having a phone capable of 30w charing and only getting a 20w charger.
Just received mine. White 6 Pro. Very nice camera bump is not as bad as i thought it would be. Just need a case now.
Would a OnePlus Dash Charger work for "rapid charging" or the Google equivalent?
Have had OP phones the last few years and have loads of those chargers and car adaptors, one of the handiest things about the phone.
Pixel 6 sorta seafoam arrived! Unfortunately I'm not allowed use it until Christmas, orders are orders but it's here!
I will be opening the box though, it arrived in a really torn cardboard box that was clearly opened by hand. Phone security seals are still intact but I need to check to make sure the screen and stuff hasn't been damaged because of the state of the box
EDIT: All good! Sorta Seafoam is a beautiful colour!!
