For that sort of money, you’d think they’d make the light switch as you come in the front door accessible (see first pic).
I read that too quickly and thought that margaret heffernan had the mirror over her bed. scary thought.
Who the hell would pay that much to live in an apartment.
I did not expect that to be the previous owner..
The agency is selling a penthouse previously owned by Dunnes Stores boss Margaret Heffernan at 21 Merrion Village in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 for €1.95m. Built in 1986, the 2,228 sq ft two-bed, two-balcony apartment, with a cocktail bar, has been given the most extravagant makeover by its current owners. And while some of the decorative touches might seem over-the-top for some buyers - mirrored ceilings and button-back leather-clad walls - its size and location shouldn't see it languishing on the market for too long.
Seems like its set for who ever pulls at Coppers gets to put on a show for everyone else afterwards.....
But jeysus you that mirrored ceiling is something else...
Wow that Pembroke Gardens one!!! There's a lot to be said for upside down living.
That merrion apt is godawful. If you had to live in D4 and had 1.3m to spend, why the hell would you buy that?
Any of these are much better. Overpriced still, but better
The last one is probably suitable for this thread alone, someone with a wallpaper fetish
I wish I could afford this. It looks stunning.
But otherwise it's a runner? 😀
No mention of the management fee- hate that. I won't go see it for that reason alone.
The bathroom is like tacky nightclub toilets, the kitchen with the fake wood laminate, the red velvet curtains in the bedroom with the mattresses stuck to the wall and the mirror in the ceiling... 70's Tackyman is alive and well.
Nice size though, not sure I would pay half that, although it would be nice to have the money to find out.. 😁
A delightful penthouse apartment in Dublin for 1.35million.
More money than class.
2 lovely professional young ladies living there looking for another lady to share home with
I think this pic was taken Saturday morning.....following Friday night after work drinkies.
Northern Spain is beautiful, much, much nicer than the rest of the country imo.
Greener than I thought it would be for Spain. Never in Spain so wouldn't know but it is northern Spain so I suppose further south would be amore arid.
For sale over a year now, and price dropped to 2.37 million euros to 1.87 million euros. Probably fairly lonely to live there, and if the same people were around all the time, it could possibly make things worse. Would probably need a lake or a giant pool to attract some tourists...

Not sure if I've ever posted this before in here and I still cannot figure out the search function to check but if anyone has a spare million hanging out in their bank account I'd suggest having a look at this. Designed by the same guy (Lanyon) that designed Queens University in Belfast, it's absolutely stunning.
It's in a bit of a state though so it would need extensive renovations. It's a listed building too so it'll be tough getting stuff approved but there's already a planning application granted for it's renovation and split into a house with lower ground floor apartment.
Why? There's a effluent plant and a factory quite close which often leaves a horrible smell depending on the direction of the wind. Also there's a few very run down or unfinished estates beside it.
It would be a personal decision on living in a country town so I can't really comment on that. Each to their own.
What does it matter which side of the town it's on? It's all the same really, isn't it?
Wouldn't want to be that close to any country town.
And the photos of the app say it was 525 a month, and they're charging 560.
What's going on in pic 3?
Also pics 7, 8 and 9 are hilarious, pictures of a phone with the daft app open.
I haven't seen a single 'Eco-House' in Ireland which doesn't cost a fortune or which didn't leave a huge carbon footprint when being built.
Well I've seen a couple but the Indo, IT and the likes would never sully their pages with them.
I'd have 7 nation army playing on a loop in that house.
The price of it though.
Disappointingly few photos but it looks like a very calming, bright, relaxing place to live. I like it!
There's the link
Eco house. Sorry don't have the direct link.
The boom is back baby!
I've been in that house a few times. I think 400k is well over priced given that's its Ballaghaderreen and especially the side of the town its on too. Location, location, location.
That's the ugliest wine rack I've ever seen.
