Surprised there's no thread for these. Looking very tempting. 5 years of support which is great for those who keep our phones long-term. Do like my Pixel 4a but do find it a little underpowered and battery life isn't brilliant. Probably will be the regular 6 its bit more affordable. Estimated pricing is €649 the Pro is a little pricey for me at €899. Hopefully they do a good launch offer like the Pixel 5. Possibility it won't be on the Irish Google store for launch though, only the UK site has info up. Should be able to get it up north I guess or Argos may have it.

I have 256GB on my OnePlus 8 Pro and I've only used about 75GB and probably a good chunk of that is stuff I could move to the cloud easily. 256GB just seems overkill.

Had the same issue but with KBC. I specifically went through the bank itself to avoid a potential block haha. I woke up to an email this morning saying my order had been placed on hold. Disappointing
Yeah, that's what I figure is the case, but not 100% sure.

Still no movement on DHL tracker since I got dispatch notification yesterday evening so looks like DHL haven't picked it up yet. Hopefully moves today and I might get it by Wednesday. Dallied ordering the Spigen case from Amazon.de so won't have that till next week. I'll be up North for in a few days so might be able to pick up the official case in Currys or elsewhere though I can't find them listed on any website only the phone to preorder.
Can't find a Tempered screen protector in stock from a brand I know though. I may just order something I'd dislike to use the phone for any length of time without one.
I am having order on hold due to payment issue since yesterday. The bank (Ulster Bank) are saying the transaction is being declined as it is not compliant with (SCA) Strong Customer Authentication. Google are denying any issue on their side and saying the order is still processing. They cant even allow me to try another card as they are saying it is still processing despite my bank confirming it was declined a second time. Very Frustrating.

A little frustrating that the Pro model are still sold out on the Google site. Don't seem to be on sale at Vodafone or 3 yet either despite being on that list.. not much of a promo when we have no opportunity to order. Anyone know what chance of them re-appearing for sale before Wednesday?

Keep refreshing the page every couple of minutes and you'll see that the pro is available every once in a while. Just bought the black pro there by doing that method.
Just had the black pro appear as in stock, tried the add it to basket and kept getting an error notice telling me to retry, it's now gone out of stock again.
He seems very happy with it.
Battery life is very good and screen gets nice and bright.
If you have to keep refreshing the page then what's the point of the waitlist to order?
Yeah waitlist is pointless if not actually getting notified.
