Just a quick question, does anyone know the rough time for feedback after the medical? I’ve recently completed and I’m wondering when I’ll hear back in the rough sense.
I agree but maybe it’s a good sign they are recruiting again as that means they need staff so we will be guaranteed a place providing we pass everything?! I’m doing my fitness soon and have done vetting
Hi. I got my medical result 2 working days after it and my smt about 10 das after the medical date. So, i had both done in about 10 days' time. That's the scenario if u don't have any medical or smt complications that would require further exchange of communications between u and OHW before u get the "green-light" emails for both of these that come separately. Hope this helps.
Anyone know the current ML numbers that are getting medicals. I completed PCA around 3 weeks ago but still no medical date.
Completed my PCA almost 7 weeks ago and still waiting on my date for medical. Im 520 - 530 on ML
Looks like recruitment are struggling at this stage. The recruitment stats have not been updated since 31/8/21.
Currently doing online learning, passed pca and vetting was through in 2 weeks. No sign of a medical date just yet.
does anyone know if the online learning is touched on in GV? Seems a load of unnecessary information on this course lol
I completed it in about 3 hours, really seemed mostly pointless but you never know, think you can log in again later on to go over it all again if needs be. I passed my Vetting middle of Sept and still no Medical date yet, think they are around ML 530 at the minute so just sit back and wait for now..I'm ML 580-600 so when I hear I will post so you know not far behind.
I'm around the same ML position. 510 to 520 and I got my medical date over a week ago, although still waiting on my vetting being passed. Doesn't seem to be a firm structure to it all.
I’m the same waiting on vetting. Merit list 400 - 425. Passed all stages just vetting to go been 17 weeks now since date I sent them back.
I finally got my medical date today ML 520-530. I’ve passed all other stages including vetting.
Happy days. Same here. Thankfully my vetting didn't take too long. Medical app date came today. Glad to see it arrive.

The last full week of this month, people should get calls for a start in December. Intakes were 30-35 people but i hear rumours for increasing that number.
I got an email in mid September to say my vetting had started and there was a couple of things I missed out on the form. So I replied and haven't heard a thing since. I've my medical very soon. Would love to know why some clear vetting in a couple of weeks and others take so long.
You'll not be able to get that until the day after you complete the course. You'll get an email as far as I can remember, to download it. There's also instructions on the email with the course link attached. Don't panic, as it takes a day before you can actually download the certificate.
It came about an hour after and I’ve downloaded and forwarded on. Onto the next bit now, hopefully medical date comes through soon 🤞🏻
Can I just confirm, after medical and SMT results are back, is that it? You don’t hear anything else until the call?

Waiting on a medical date just. Vetting passed and pca completed a few weeks back. Online learning completed also.
I have passed all bar vetting still waiting on it to come back. Not sure what the hold up is tho. How long was it since you did pca?
Just over three weeks ago or so.my vetting was through in 2 weeks. Hopefully yours won’t be far behind. I’m hoping my medical date comes through soon. Was it just an email invite as usual?
Yeah it was. All done by email. I had to wait 8 weeks from pca to date of email for medical then another 4 weeks for the medical. Got SMT results first then medical results week after but it could be quicker for everyone else. Covid has slowed up everything.
Online learning comes a few days after PCA.

I know someone who posted somewhere else that they just got the call today for a Dec. start date. Just wanted to be helpful and infrom yous :)
