Why do you think posting links to websites/articles about the topic is equivalent to "debunking". Getting lots of likes from the CT mob is not a measure of how right you are unfortunately.
I find it interesting how dead-set people are on fighting the theory that the measures aren't permanent when they haven't been lifted in full yet. Government already looking at extending existing restrictions on pubs/nightclubs etc.
I guarantee you, this thread will still be here this time next year and the same topic will be debated to a nauseating degree...
Basically we are back to screw the elderly as you have been slightly discommoded. The circle completes yet again.
400,000 is a big number, but it's about 0.1% of the US population and most of those people will be people who were going to die soon anyway, once Covid passes the excess mortality will turn negative. These numbers are thrown around to scare people in to thinking Covid is worse than it is. 4.5 million global covid deaths in 2 years seems huge, but there's been periods where that many people died from diarrhea in 2 years. Over 635,000 die of heart disease in the US annually so about 1.1M since the start of the pandemic, also mostly obese.
I just looked at Brazil, 0.3% of the population died, around 600K, about the same amount died from heart disease in Brazil since the pandemic started too.
I agree the pandemic is tragedy, specifically for old, sick and obese, but statistically young and healthy people have very little to worry about. I don't think it warranted the extreme measures we've be subject to, and the fact that are dragging on so long is unnecessary and worrying, I don't think it's data driven, I think we have doctors calling the shots, and Doctors only care about health.
He said the same stuff after each of the school shootings he claimed were faked.
Why are you going to read Alex Jones yet you refuse to read the book by the guy you think is trying to take over the world? That's a really odd thing to do...
The latest normal is the 'apart from normal'. Apart from masks, social distancing, and having to show your papers everywhere you go, things are normal.
As you said: 'just two weeks to flatten the curve'. It's getting close to two years.
The only way what you're saying makes sense is if there was no virus and it was all a hoax.
However there is a virus, and it is capable of causing problems still. What do you suggest? Should we just forget about any measures that might help slow or reduce the virus transmission, and just let it rip and see what happens? At what point would you suggest re-imposing some restrictions? how about when ICU's are full? or when hospitals have no more beds and patients have to die at home? or when oxygen runs out? How many would be dead at that point, due to your experiment?
Saying "just two weeks to flatten the curve, it's getting close to two years" is a bit like what a child would say when they don't comprehend the reality of some situation.
He's been going on about FEMA death camps and such since the early 2000s... So he's been so vague in terms of claims, if tents go up and people die. He can just claim "FEMA death camps"..... It seems like you've just abandoned the actual conspiracy though and are going off on tangents.
"Do your research" and share your findings.
"Question everything" - except the grifters.
Operation Lockstep - Hoax
SPARS epidemic - An exercise
Operation Crimson Contagion - An exercise
Event 201 - An exercise
It took less than 2 minutes to look all that up.
You just blindly parrot and regurgitate whatever internet conspiracy cranks come up with, without a single thought as to what's really going on. They do the same with terrorism drills, whenever there is an attack, they look up all the drills around that time, and then let you "join the dots".
They prey on your paranoia and lack of critical thinking and make bank from your clicks, but sure, feel free to keep "doing your own research"
Government planning for different scenarios of crisis which may befall them is not a conspiracy, its their job.
Operation lockstep
The SPARS pandemic
Operation Crimson Contagion
Event 201
Probably all just coincidence..
This isn't research. It's deliberately seeking out false information and ignoring real information. Which you then mindlessly parrot in this and other threads. Then you "act" confused when challenged on it.
We already see that the poster doesn’t like to have their beliefs questioned and Alex Jones offers the echo chamber they crave.
"Just to clarify I'm not saying we're living in my Orwellian fantasy, but we kinda are." In my experience on this forum you'll only get more adamant with soapboxing this, calling it now
Any comment on what measures will be permanent or why?
Why are you prepared to do research on the guy who lies for a living and thinks frogs are gay, but not researching other more credible sources for information about covid/ masks/ vaccines/ etc?
If you just try to look at things through the eyes of people who aren't that worried about Covid, or terrorists, surely you see that from their point of view, mass surveillance, lockdowns, restrictions, being asked for "papers", having travel restricted, being forced or coerced to take government issued drugs, these are all giant steps closer to how a regime like China operates
Yes, you are correct, if the virus didn't exist and the government imposed lockdowns and restrictions, of course it would be a different story. The same goes for a paranoid person, if the CIA/KGB were actually watching them, or aliens were doing something to them, then of course they would not just be paranoid, and their reaction would be somewhat understandable.
However the virus does exist, and is killing people, and has overwhelmed health services in different countries, so the measures taken to mitigate the worst effects of the virus are perfectly understandable responses by the governments and health services around the world.
In that context talk of 'totalitarian regimes' is verging on (if not outright) delusional, don't you think? If you say 'ah, but why are there not more people dead in Ireland'. The answer is that we've been pretty successful in mitigating the worst effects. If you're in any doubt as to what the virus can do look at Brazil, or even see this US CDC web site https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm. The CDC page shows the weekly deaths in the US, from all causes, for the past 4 years. See the 'excess' deaths, above the orange line? I've not sure what the overall total excess death is to date, but for the full year 2020 it was around 400,000, ie. 400,000 more people died in the US in 2020 than in any other year!! What do you think they died from? And is that a miniscule number?
I didn't know that Alex Jones said they were going to lock us down. I'll do a bit of research on that.
On the surveillance, I was just making the point that western governments can and do impose these Orwellian measures on their population, it's not directly related to Covid, just an example to show what they are willing to do for "our own good". And I wouldn't agree that the democracy highlighted the capability, it was largely Ed Snowden who had to flee and is living in exile ever since. Nobody wants to be China, so where do we draw the line to prevent it?
Some people are scared of Covid, and worried about the health service and that's perfectly rational, they support lockdowns and restrictions, and it makes sense to them. If you just try to look at things through the eyes of people who aren't that worried about Covid, or terrorists, surely you see that from their point of view, mass surveillance, lockdowns, restrictions, being asked for "papers", having travel restricted, being forced or coerced to take government issued drugs, these are all giant steps closer to how a regime like China operates, Combine that with a growing number of people who think Socialism will work if we try it again, and we're not a million miles away from repeating some of the mistakes of history.
And just to clarify, I'm not saying that's what's happening, or likely to happen, I'm just making the point that if it was to happen, this is how it would go down, some boogeyman, like a virus that kills a miniscule % of the people it infects would be blown out of proportion and draconian measures would be put in place for our won good.
Useless and inane questions like "Please provide some details about the conspiracy for other posters and readers here in the Conspiracy Theories forum."
You couldn't make it up, could you. Oh wait, they do.
Sorry man, no one is going to watch another bitchute link dump.
Especially when you're doing it as a defensive action because you aren't able to articulate your own opinion.
You claimed that vaccines don't work.
Where's your evidence for this?
What about the studies you've been provide that show that the vaccines are effective? Have you not read them?
Christ
https://www.bitchute.com/video/AIyEl63FcGxx/
Lol more insults to avoid points.
What do you mean it's "bring pro-vaccine as possible"?
Where does it say that vaccines don't work? Please quote the part that does.
Do you agree with the part of the conclusion that states that masks and social distancing are required long term?
Why did you ignore when I asked you this in the last post?
You could probably do with some 'super male vitality' King Mob..
You might do something else rather than argue about conspiracy theories on the Internet all day..
That doesn't say that vaccines don't work though.
It talks about cases being unrelated to vaccination levels, doesn't look like they compared to hospitalisations or deaths at all. Highly vaccinated populations are likely to be living under less restrictions, so cases are likely to rise. The important but as far as health services is concerned is hospitalisations and deaths. The important bit as far as national economies is cases and what local government they expect you to do in terms of isolation and staying off work.
Yup. The one who sells brain force pills and claims there's a conspiracy to turn frogs gas. That's the guy.
Is he back in the good graces of conspiracy theorists now? I thought the go was that he was a dis-info agent meant to make you guys look bad?
Well, it's being as pro vaccine as possible while recognising the evidence..
If the high vaccine take up areas are still high covid areas they're not working..
That study does not support you claim that the vaccines don't work.
That study says:
" Importantly, other non-pharmacological prevention efforts (e.g., the importance of basic public health hygiene with regards to maintaining safe distance or handwashing, promoting better frequent and cheaper forms of testing) needs to be renewed in order to strike the balance of learning to live with COVID-19 in the same manner we continue to live a 100 years later with various seasonal alterations of the 1918 Influenza virus."
Do you agree with this part of the conclusion?
