They are no longer in the post (mostly due to the promptness of delivery), but a pair of Galibier Ardennes light winter gloves arrived today. Very happy with fit, we shall find out soon how they fair in cold weather
This arrived today and given the mild weather I obviously haven't ridden with it yet but while it feels warm it's definitely lighter than the Prendas one I've had previously. It might be a while before I get to test it in anger unless temperatures drop quite a bit!
Leather gloves from Galibier (never tried such a thing, but love a leather saddle...on my bike, that is). And one of their really excellent white mesh base layers - a slightly heavier, less fragile version of Rapha's one, for much smaller money.
I presume you mean the Belgian one? I will indeed. I love that style of hat for the cold weather, have previously been using one from prendas which is very toasty. https://www.prendas.co.uk/products/prendas-ciclismo-belgian-style-winter-hat
I'm hoping the Galibier one is a bit lighter but will wait and see!
let us know what the cap is like, I was tempted when I saw the email but concerned it might be too warm.
Pictures?
A nice few bits for the winter from Galibier, Belgian cap, barrier gloves, Colombiere jacket, skull cap :D
No press fit BB, looks like similar design to the wheels manufacturing bb
A Canyon Grizl in size medium, should have it next week 😀
In case anyone is bothered - they arrived on time, and are so far (one ride!) pretty good. The CarbonTi hubs are a little noisier than ideal, but much less so than, say, Hope or Hunt. Combined with Rene Herse tyres for extra-supple riding...
Rose are not the fastest, particularly if there are many items in the order. They have a delivery on the way to me for the last few days but no tracking information is available. A lot of product reviews on Rose are people giving out about delivery times.
ordered an edge 830 from Rose last thursday (€330 in their sale ), hasn't been dispatched yet ?? , the above brings to mind ...forgot to order a cover
are Rose normally slow ?
Medium for me so
Yeah, I had a similar experience with Galibier, ordered while in work on Monday, arrived home early on Tuesday, and they had been delivered, great service.
Both are perfect, delighted. Got them in large, 6'3 and just under 88kg. Length in the arms and down the back are spot on. Usually find it difficult to get the arm length right but the double cuffs are brilliant.
How is the sizing?
Few bits from 360cycles but silicone cover for 530 edge for €5 is a bargain.

Took delivery this morning at about 11:30, just over 26 hours from time of ordering to when the doorbell rang. Can't ask for better!
got my clip on mud guards and new overshoes from bike discount.de
ordered last Friday, arrived yesterday. nice
Just ordered a Roubaix Pro jersey and a Torumalet 3 jacket from Galibier, hopefully I got the sizing right and that they arrive soon.
Can you post up how you get on with that? I have a newer CdF and would consider this upgrade, although ideally not at 400e or so for the Genesis fork. I'd need thru axle and flat mount
Pair of Duke Road Runner 22 wheels with CarbonTi hubs from WheelTec.nl (who make good wheels, have excellent customer service and generous warranty...and are in the EU). Specced them with 24+28 spokes, so that some v.light touring isn't out of the question. If only my Cervelo R3 took bigger tyres, I'd put 32++ on them...
RSA will send you these for free, along with great yellow helmet covers and pannier covers.
cut the toe off and use them as snoods?
Ordered a pair of 3/4 length bibshorts & knee warmers from Galibier on Mon morning, got in from work at 3pm on Tues, there they were in the porch. Impressive. They always include a freebie, this time it was a pair of socks, they were so big that I reckon Ronald MacDonald would find them too much. But who's complaining????????
I've noticed that Wiggle's stock is getting rather thin over the last few months. Things I've ordered from them before are no longer available.
Not in the post to me, but back to Wiggle without delivery having being attempted. Second time this has happened to me from a UK retailer recently
BMC Roadmachine, should be here next week hopefully,
Not in the post, but I just bought a bottle of the very best chain oil in the local bricks and mortar for €11.50.
Winter is coming so mudguards. SKS Raceblade XL Pro.
