Finally the presenters are asking the questions, for the last while they seemed happy to let SF come on, rant and rave, walk off but offer no alternatives.
Now we have seen multiple times when they come out with their BS at least someone asks them a question about it, as we can see its a car crash after that.
Cripple the country....you can imagine the first debate when they turn around "something something FG/FF something something" till they are reminded it was their policy 😂
SF had no response yet. So not sure why think think they are spoofing. Bit premature
I really really want them in power.
Wouldnt mind an election tomorrow, tempted to vote for them to make sure they get in as a majority too.
Can't wait, it's gonna be epic😎
Good to see this move. FFG spoofing tackled head on. https://twitter.com/aoifegracemoore/status/1448642046307098632?t=Sab6uxA-IHZrmdXjflYWKA&s=19
A lot of ranting and raving, of course “something something FF/FG something something “ in the middle
Predictable when SF called out,
Did we have a housing crisis in 2014? No we didn’t. We had a homeless problem
Did we have one in 2019, yes we did.
The main issue we have in the likes of Dublin is between 2014-2019 when we got out of the disaster that was the crash, people started to return home etc and DCC built no houses. That was SF fault. Jumping around on a pin all day but that’s the truth.
Dublin 2014 homeless: 1868
Dublin 2019 homeless: 4268
The facts don’t lie. This is the great work SF led DCC did in a few years, f**king disgrace

Despite regular accusations of, 'Shinnerbot' thrown my way when I disagree with some or point out hypocrisy, I remain convinced they'd be about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
I don't think we'd experience the catastrophic doomsday scenarios that some imagine should they ever be in power though, just an absolute mountain of promises unfulfilled as the reality of economics comes home to roost. It really is unfortunate that so many people are so disappointed with the main two parties that this shower are considered the best alternative. A handful of somewhat competent politicians who know they're never going to deliver what they're promising with a supporting cast who I suspect genuinely believe they will but don't have the intellect to realise they can't.
It seems as if SF are making it up as they go.
I remember an interview the other day with Matt Cooper, where they wanted to give renters a month's break.
Simple question: "How much would that cost the state"...
...
..
After about 20 seconds of panic and spluttering, the old 'I don't have the figures in front of me'
Now you would think that their primary piece of policy in their alternative budget would be costed but apparently not.
It is a recurring theme. Anytime anyone asks a follow-up question about actual numbers/details of the sort the SF crowd are left wanting.
If they want to be in power and have the big jobs, then they need to go to school. There is simply a dearth of talent in SF when it comes to capability. Shouting and roaring on the airwaves or on Twitter is not a skill that transitions to running a country and we will see that in due course.
If I'm reading this right, you're saying SF didn't fix housing during that time? You must think FF/FG are **** awful :)
Delighted to see you so concerned for the homeless up north. Is the difference SF in power sharing?
No charity industry? Nobody just looking for a free house? Pull the other one horse.
My attitude hasn't changed.
I know the scam artists and fake homeless every day as I witness them with my own eyes.
Accusing me of changing my attitude, I don't think so.
Where did I say SF were the majority for most of that time?
Sorry lad you're wrong again.
As I said and I'll say again, SF were part of DCC for the last 20 years.
Name me one constructive thing they did in all that time for housing?
Lad, you jumped the gun and straight to attack as per SF supporters.
Have a good night lad.
DC council:
Since 2019: FF 11, FG, 9, SF 8.
2014: SF 16, FF 9, FG 8.
2009: Lab 19, FG 12, SF 7, FF 6.
2004: Lab 16, FF 12, SF 10, FG 9.
For almost 5 years SF had more seats than FF or FG, but less than FF/FG, who were in government together that time. Who set policy and had the lion's share of the tax take. Give me a break lad.
Can housing be solved in 5 years? Are you suggesting the government have little to no hand in housing strategy? Are you saying we could sort housing if FF/FG took a back seat? You will need get your story straight and wise up.
P.S.: It's always FF/FG's fault. Look it up.
Illegal organisation up to illegal stuff shocker 🤔
Arlene must have been taking notes.
Nice to see attitudes change on the homeless issue.
Yeah yeah yeah.
And who was and is in Dublin City Council the last 20 years for which they were a majority for some of that time.
Always someone else's fault.
Interesting piece from your link.
"A commission led by Judge Robin Rowland QC was established in 1977 to investigate Housing Executive contracts. It reported in 1979,[12] finding that public money had ended up in the hands of front organisations for the IRA." [16
The issue in NI is that there is a Housing Agency rather than the responsibility being with local councils. The Housing Agency has had no power to raise funds to invest in housing, though a Sinn Fein Minister has changed that last year.

Ehhhhh???
What are you talking about?
What abouuuuoottt da homeless!! Was wondering what was taken so long for them to be mentioned.
Homeless as in Margaret Cash?? Pffftt.
Drill into this 10,000 homeless nonsense and a lot of politicians, media, radio presenters, charities etc would have massive egg on their face. People go homeless get a free house. Numbers of “homeless” increase and they wonder why. It’s ludicrous how easy it is to see what the problem is.
Homeless my hole. Chancers looking for a free gaff more like.
Oh wait, Northern Ireland? Suddenly I've changed my tune.
Just seen the homeless figures for Northern Ireland.
A rise by 60% since 2019.
Someone should really try do something about that.
Some party with a bit of power.
Oh wait......
Another 1 from the small arsenal of stock answers frequently pulled from the stock answer bag every now and again. Surely must be time to put the thinking cap on and dream up some new catchy phrases bro, the characters lines are getting a wee bit stale at this stage boss.
Lot of anger and best to stay away etc etc.
Why post it in discussion? Seems weird.
Makes plenty sense to me, a chara.
What do you mean? Doesn't seem to make sense.
Long time ago
We must be getting to the head of the pin by now?
Read back a page or two. Lad making light of an educated shinner .
Poster calling SF supporters 'scumbags' a week or so ago. You dig it out.
You sound fevered here. We should ask Mark. I don't know what Mark's idea of what SF should be, is. Do you think Mary Lou should consult him lest they lose his vote?
This thread is about Sinn Fein. Sinn Fein claim to be a left-wing party. What else should be doing other than taking Sinn Fein's claims about themselves and shining a cold hard light on them?
Do you want this to be a thread devoted to worship of Mary-Lou and all things Sinn Fein?
