There may be a perfectly plausible reason why people are wearing a mask in the car. They might be on their way to collect somebody, maybe they've just left one shop and are driving to another? I've seen anti-maskers go on at length about how people fidget with their masks and what a terrible thing this is. So maybe the people wearing a mask in the car are simply keeping them on so that they don't have to fidget with them. It says a lot about the mindset of certain people that they seize upon this as a reason to bang on about Fear and the MSM. It flies in the face of doing research, doesn't it?
They wore gauze masks but were only intended for people with flu symptoms to stop them spreading. No mention of cloth masks or healthy people being mandated to wear masks. No social distancing either only mass gatherings were banned.

In these 32 pages, masks are mentioned no less than 20 times.
From the admitting that the initial response was a **** show due to still practicing Asian medicine, and only when they adopted western measures (masks, increased hygiene awareness, halting of mass gatherings, isolation of cases) did they get a grasp on the outbreak, to showing some countries in the world had to enforce mask wearing due to resistance by the population...
As mentioned above, from 1993... It was peer reviewed also... but no doubt it was some sort of Bill Gates pre-emptive publication.

One of them also mentions that gauze masks were too coarse and tighter knit masks would have been a better solution... I think it's the Japanese article which states they linked droplet transmission as a vector for infection so used cloth masks

Try breathing out close to a cold window and think why it fogs up? The virus can be in the invisible stuff that you exhaled and which condensed on the window.
