Why are you dodging questions?
I'm not vulnerable.
Oh don't worry. They'll flip back to it being a global conspiracy again soon.
Then when we repoint out all the facts that show other countries have lifted their restrictions too, they'll flip back to just Ireland again.
And an Irish conspiracy at that, not even a global one
Also, is this the level the conspiracy theory has to go to to stay alive?
"I don't like wearing masks because they are uncomfortable, therefore it must be a giant global conspiracy."
Pretty childish reasoning there.
Ireland is the only country that’s going to make these things permanent then, right? I’m just back from Denmark and currently in the UK. This conspiracy is clearly a specifically Irish thing
(just to be clear, the authorities in Denmark go out of their way to remind you that you don’t have to wear a mask any more, anywhere. Mette Frederiksen clearly didn’t get the memo)
Because you're one of the unvaccinated and thus vulnerable to getting COVID-19 and putting pressure on the health system. You do understand that much don't you?
And again, what is "abhorrent and disgusting" about masks? People have been wearing them pre-SARS-COV2 as well, did you get all agitated by them back then?
Why is there a large subset (albeit stupid minority) of people who are both anti-vax and anti-mask? The 2 seem entirely unrelated yet we get posters like yourself opposed to both. Do you think seatbelts, cycle helmets and airbags offend you as well? What is the line, is it just SARS-COV2 stuff or does it go further than that?
Why?
And why are the people behind the conspiracy determined to make masks permanent?
Which other measures do you believe will be permanent?
Why would I be scared of normal people, i.e. those not wearing masks? No-one must wear a mask on my behalf.
That's a ridiculous argument. You again show that you aren't rational or making a coherent point.
Why do you believe that they plan to make masks permenant?
You agree that the 2km restriction has been lifted. Why was this lifted?
Most masks are quite comfortable, would advise trying a few, also, communication isn't really hindered.
Which makes your argument "I like to see smiles" in which case here's a perfect solution for you:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Waselia-Reusable-Washable-Motorcycle-Activities/dp/B08GM14QYL/
Can't talk properly to people wearing one, uncomfortable, make previously pleasant tasks unpleasant, don't see people smiling. People might say that seeing people smiling isn't important, but it's nice to see people smile and is all very unnatural not being able to see people's faces.
The 2km thing wouldn't be a big deal for me personally. I could go for a walk in the fresh air, talk to people properly.
He said that the restrictions were exceptional, whether they are temporary or not. My understanding of 'or not' is permanent. It's there in the video.
What is disgusting about them? They are considered fine for use in hospital environments so can't be that disgusting.
Masks are proven scientifically to prevent the spread of airborne pathogens such as SARS-COV2, I'm unsure what has triggered you into thinking they are "disgusting and abhorrent" but it sounds like a deep rooted syndrome of sort to have such a reaction to them.
The fact that you aren't vaccinated should make you grateful that others are wearing masks to reduce the transmission to anti-vax fools.
lol.
Why is a wearing a mask more intolerable? Why do you believe they are forcing people to wear masks?
depends on the pub... 4 of 10 weren't vaccinated last night and got in
you'll find as restrictions ease, people with generally just not follow the rules (point and case, the UK, on paper, lots of mini restrictions... in reality, very little actually observed)
there'll be a period of needing lateral flow tests to get into places, which will gradually reduce as more people are vaccinated and realise they have to live with the virus 9and realise all this testing costs money)
I was back in Ireland last month, and the only time I was asked for a vaccine cert was in a take away when I asked to eat in (funnily enough, I could wait for my food maskless, but not eat it there without a vaccine :-D)... had a great day on the beer, hit about 7 pubs... you should probably go outside and see for yourself instead of hiding behind the laptop screen watching bitchute videos and getting butt hurt because you're not in a conspiracy theory echo chamber
You have repeated claimed in other threads that there is a global plot to install a one world communist government. You have claimed that the current events are part of this plot.
It's very bizarre that you are pretending otherwise now.
It's either complete dishonesty or complete delusion at this stage.
And yes, the claim that all measures will be permanent has been completely debunked because:
A, most restrictions have ended. You accepted this when you had to claim that only masks will be permanent.
And B: because you are other conspiracy theorists have utterly failed to explain which measures will be permanent and why. You guys have run away and ignored this question the entire thread.
Again, you repeatedly coming in and dropping links and then completely avoiding points and outright changing your position is making your position look inchoherent and dishonest.
Masks are disgusting and abhorrent.
How exactly is your life more limited by the wearing of masks in a few limited scenarios more than by not being able to travel more than 2km from your front door? Do you live on Inishmaan or similar location?
As for that other statement, not sure what he meant. What restrictions was he referring to? I guess they are being used in a temporary basis to deal with an exceptional situation. Not sensing anything sinister.
Neither is social distancing. Haven’t seen or heard an ad on RTE for a long time either. RTE having masks in some of their programmes aren’t restrictions either.
I don't say I agree with him. I say I understand where he's coming from. There's a difference. People who have experienced communism say that the West is going down a dangerous road. You can dismiss them as cranks, if you like, but that doesn't mean they're not saying it.
You also didn't answer my question about Donnelly. What does "These are exceptional measures, whether temporary or permanent" mean, in your opinion?
For me it is.
You didn't answer my question about what Donnelly said. What does "These are exceptional measures, whether temporary or not" mean, in your opinion?
And those who aren't vaccinated aren't allowed in.
I don't care whether people agree me or not. I'm just pointing out that nothing has been debunked. It's that the threads are dominated by people who agree with each other.
funny that... all my mates were sitting in a pub last night in Dublin... hmm
"boo hoo, nobody agrees with me"
So you've changed your position yet again.
You previously claimed that only masks are going to be permanent. But now your back to the idea that they are all permanent and have never been lifted?
How many times have you flipped your position now? I've lost count.
Are you doing this on purpose because you are dishonest? Or are you doing it because you genuinely are shifting your view of reality this often?
Not a single poster has coherently explained what measures will be permanent nor why in this entire thread.
You have claimed measures will be permanent because they are "popular". Yet you agree with another poster who claims all measures will be permanent because it's part of a plot to install Communism. Well which one is it?
So no ALL then, and not Permanent.
Are you really trying to claim that wearing a mask to a shop is a more intolerable restriction than not being allowed more than 2km from you front door?
Where's the delusion? I have explained what I mean when I say no relaxation of restrictions. I don't consider businesses that were always going to reopen to be a scrapping of a restriction. And they're still operating under restrictions. I should probably say 'no proper relaxation of restrictions'. How is that not accurate?
Ads are not restrictions.
Always going to reopen. And still heavily restricted. I'm referring to the more intolerable restrictions, i.e. masks, vaccine passports, social distancing, testing, HSE ads every day about masks, RTÉ pushing masks in their programmes etc.
There may be a relaxation of restrictions on the 22nd of October, but when Donnelly is saying "whether temporary or not" it suggests at least some measures will be permanent. Or how do you interpret what he's saying?
