That's all very well, and it's a worthy aim to choose knowledge and truth over veils of ignorance.
The problem then arises of how you find the knowledge and the truth? If you just follow some random people on facebook or youtube you may in fact be just following a (smaller) crowd rather than actually getting any closer to the truth (in fact you may be getting further away).
If you, or the people you follow, can't demonstrate the correctness of what you say, then your claims are on very shaky ground!!!

From interactions here and elsewhere, I’m fairly certain that half the conspiracy theorists don’t actually hold the belief they claim. They are disgruntled with something or other and want to stick it to the man in whatever feeble way they can, which is usually posting what they know are lies online.
Theyre scrambling around in desperation for conspiracies. Cant accept they were so wrong about this consistently for 18 months and now look foolish.
Just an update from the UK.... went to the pub and got a carvery last weekend without any need to book anything, no masks, no social distancing...
Did some shopping afterwards, all shops open, no masks, no social distancing...
Sat in a bookshop yesterday and thumbed through a few books while having a coffee.... bought 2 and we exchanged cash without wearing gloves or using alcohol gel ...
went BJJ training this week too (been fully open since July/August), the club has only closed 4 times due to close contacts
Picked up my child from creche where they just inform you of being a close contact now and if you pass a lateral flow test (which are provided free) you can gain entry, otherwise it's 5 days off
Had to get a bus and train to work the other day, had to sit beside some random with no mask..

Well the conspiracy theorists aren't talking about other countries. They're only talking about Ireland.
Unless it's expedient for their claims, then they're claiming it's a global conspiracy.
I had one tell me not to talk about England as this was an Irish site and they were talking specifically about the issues in Ireland, The same poster had 5 minutes previously posted statistics for PERU as evidence of Irelands restrictions being permanent 🤷♂️🤣
It's entirely why conspiracy theorist have to be vague and evasive. If they nail down what they are claiming, then they can't pivot and shift like this without it being obviously complete bullshit. Now they can try and cover their bullshit by hiding behind they vagueness.
Though I should say that it's the conspiracy mongers and grifters who are doing this. Conspiracy theorists here just seem to be parroting what these guys say rather than be dishonest in themselves.

Hasn't been debunked. A few posters have declared that it has, but their declaring it has doesn't actually mean it has. The problem is that the threads on this forum are dominated by people who disagree with the theories being put forward.
I still can't think of a single restriction that has been lifted. A few places have reopened that were always going to reopen. No guarantees restrictions will be lifted on the 22nd. What about businesses that were closed? Working from home requirement? Not travelling more than Xkm from your front door? Schools being closed? Pubs being closed? Non essential shops being shut? International travel restrictions?

Always going to reopen. And still heavily restricted. I'm referring to the more intolerable restrictions, i.e. masks, vaccine passports, social distancing, testing, HSE ads every day about masks, RTÉ pushing masks in their programmes etc.
There may be a relaxation of restrictions on the 22nd of October, but when Donnelly is saying "whether temporary or not" it suggests at least some measures will be permanent. Or how do you interpret what he's saying?
