I may be wrong but a quick glance shows some shite days and times for the Irish teams.
Don't think Munster's are great anyway for anyone travelling from outside Limerick. 8pm kick off with say a 2 hour game (and no guarantee it won't be longer) probably means won't be back til Cork till going on midnight or after if there's heavy traffic. Very limited if any public transport that late and know it deters people from bringing kids to games that late if long journey late at night after. Guess they know Munster fans will travel regardless but don't think it's a great ko tbh imo but know it smight suit others for different reasons.
Connacht play 3 of their 4 on a Sunday at 1.00pm.
Only 2.
Last round is 2pm France, 3pm here.
First Munster game is away in Coventry at 3:15pm on a Sunday, clearly trying to reduce the number of away fans
8pm kick offs always have an excellent atmosphere.
The place will hopefully be rocking and full on christmas spirit
The other euro game is an afternoon ko
plenty of league games for kids to attend.
Some people will never be happy.
No necessarily.
with the game finishing at 5.30 and birmingham airport 30 mins away it means a lot of fans can get back home sunday night.
Other way round I think, awec? 2pm France is 1pm here, no?
Add on the matchday traffic and buffer in an hour or so for getting through the airport you'd be doing well too catch a 7:30 flight, if one existed to Shannon/Cork at that time then great, if not then Birmingham to Dublin + 2/3 hours to limerick or cork
To be fair I clearly said it was my opinion and said might suit others. Will be trying to go regardless but have right to express an opinion same as anyone else. And 5 of the 5 announced kick offs in league are at 7.35.
Not what it says here
3 out of 4.
Wasps don't pick the kick off time, the EPCR and the TV stations do. The EPCR literally don't give two shíts about the fans attending. Home or away. It's about TV schedules. So no, they're not trying to reduce the number of away fans.
Having been to games in the Ricoh (Coventry Building Society Arena), matchday traffic isn't a thing, there's literally a slip road out of the stadium car park onto the A444 which is about a mile and a half from the M6.
There is also a train station as part of the Arena that serves the adjacent shopping centre. Its about 30 minutes on the train to Birmingham International.
The only fear I would have would be engineering works taking place on the lines but an Uber is only about £20/25 mins to the Airport from the Stadium.
yep,
so very possible to be home for sunday night.
kO time also suits the large contingent of uK based munster fans.
So BT Sport effectively picked that time? Wonder why...
Not for whatever conspiracy theory notion that your thinking of anyway, that's for sure.
You do understand how 'finance' and 'sponsorship' and 'TV rights' work?
Genuine question, no need to be muppets with your answers lads
The 3pm slots on a Sunday are the prime Sunday slots. Saturday is already loaded.

You didn't ask a question. You declared there was a conspiracy against Munster.
Scarlets have forfeited their game as expected. https://twitter.com/scarlets_rugby/status/1468173600154955776?t=RxH9y-v9sKeTqIPQTJPOlw&s=19
The Welsh fans of course blaming the league and ERC for their own governments decisions. Not to mention Covid.
I wonder would they have forfeited if it had been a home game. Cardiff are putting out a squad with semipros and academy players against Toulouse and their first team squad will still be in quarantine on the day of the match.
Its not the ERC or the URC's fault, but the Welsh government really screwed them over here.
They broke no rules, and were forced into exile because of something that happened completely beyond their control
Did anyone investigate rearranging the fixture for sunday evening to allow extra time to prepare.
I think the administrators are leaving a lot to be desired here. They just dont seem to give a flying fiddlers.
But doing their quarantine in Wales wouldn't have made any difference to their ability to play this game.
The ERC and URC are at fault for something alright, they have absolutely no contingency plan for anything and have not given one seconds thought to having measures in place to deal with situations that have been arising for a long time now.
The players put a lot on the line and are getting shafted here through no fault of their own.
I see across the water some premiership team is able to seek a postponement for this weekends game because of a covid breakout in the squad.
The ERC and URC are backing themselves into a corner here that could come back and bite them.
who has gotten a postponement?
The league will consider postponements on a case by case basis.
So while they might refuse it, they at least have some mechanism in place to deal with issues.
