Any essays on influence of equity going? Would be greatly appreciated!! Will trade
COMPANY
I am covering directors/directors duties, Shares/Share Transfer, Corporate Authority, SLP, Restriction, Realisation and Protection for Minorities - thoughts?
Very nervous!
Section 569(d)
section 570
abuse of process - pageboy, stone gate, re emerald, re wing toughening
then onto the fact it’s at the courts discretion - meridian and re genport
then the fact the debtor disputing the debt can take an injunction
Tort:
I did professional negligence, informed consent and false imprisonment analysis for the therapist question. Now realising that prof neg part was not correct as not intentional tort.
I had 3 other decent questions and one ok.
Do people think I could scrap a pass? How many Mark's could one possibly pick up for a partially incorrect answer?
I'm obsessing a bit about it because I knew enough to pass but didn't apply it as well as I should have.
Cheers.
Honestly, probably passed. If I had covered prof. neg and consent I would have thrown them in as well.
In tort last sitting, I answered one whole question on the wrong topic and I passed :) put it out of your head now, it won't be as bad as you think
Did you do any corporate borrowing? Pretty much covered same as me other than that, but I left out minorities, no time.
Has anyone received confirmation from law society on whether you can print the companies act?
I know company examiner tends to repeat a lot of qs but anyone an opinion as a marker?
Anyone have an up to date property grid? Including March 2021
For some reason I just couldn't wrap my head around it so had no time to be trying to understand it so just left it!
I think he is a really fair marker, I only included one case and copied a lot of legislation from the Act to bulk up my answer for one question and I got 9 marks in it
I do, send me your email
If you have an hour or so maybe look at ROT clauses, it’s the one of the three that didn’t come up in the last sitting and it’s pretty short! May not come up obviously but might be worth a quick look.
may I get this too please?
And he loves when we quote him in our answers! Worth a few more marks!
Thanks guys :) Eased the nerves a bit hoping legislation will be what pulls me over the line, so frustrating not remembering half the cases!
PROPERTY
I failed last time with 46%.didnt have a 5th answer from what I learned which was:-
Succession
Family
Co-Ownership
AP
Finding
Easements
I've added in Mortgages but really worried the same thing happens again. What else should I add in?
For Criminal Law does anyone have any opinions on the examiner? Am hoping that they are generous enough with the marks :/
Would also like to know people's experience with this, seems like there are so many issues in each problem question
In my opinion he’s lovely ! Someone did a survey for the results of the November 2020 exams and the pass rate got criminal in the survey was 80% if that is of any consolation!
Thank you! There's still that 20% though! Sorry, I am feeling very pessimistic about this tonight. I think it feels so surreal doing exams from my bedroom, I'm finding it hard to get into exam mode at all
That is all I am doing this time around because on a usual paper that seems to be enough... I'm hoping the last paper was just very unusual and it will go back to its somewhat usual form, although I do know the examiner is keen to shake things up but who knows! I'm skimming licences now just to be on the safe side, I've never focused on mortgages before so couldn't start this late!
Try to even get judgement mortgages if you can… some aspect of mortgages is definitely due a run!!!
Yeah I do agree with you, ugh I just dislike it so much and my brain definitely won't have the capacity for it so I am convincing myself the worst case won't happen! :P Maybe I'll try do it now and tomorrow night and see how I get on
I am doing the same thing, although hoping I won't have to do a question on mortgages as Its my weakest topic
Hate mortgages too, believe me! But after last sitting, I think it’ll be worth it.
I'm hoping I won't have to do mortgages but in panic mode after last time.
Licenses came up as two shirt notes on bare and contractual and a problem Q on estoppel in March so I'd I've not really looked at it save for right of Residence
Is there much case law in the advantages disadvantages? I only have a few
hi guys, my company exam is still not coming up on better examinations. anyone know what i can do please?
