I did the etray back in June for Roscommon and Longford. Got my etray OOM for Longford but not for Roscommon. I had emailed just enquiring about my Roscommon etray OOM results but I though the reply wasn't very satisfactory. It seems I'll find out my OOM if I get contacted to do an interview.
Dare I ask where you are in the order of merit? have you done the etray. I did mine the 18th August but not sure if Roscommon or Westmeath. Im in 50s for Roscommon and higher in Westmeath, But not clear where either are at. Fed up waiting on etray, need new job.
Thanks
May I ask what your OOM was prior to interview?
I’d say your chances are pretty good at receiving an offer!
I enquired about the Roscommon etray results and the reply was "at present we have not yet reached your order of merit for Roscommon.
When we reach your order of merit for Roscommon you will then be issued a result" .
Hi All,
I did an interview on 01/10 and received my results on Monday. OOM 3 for Wexford open panel batch 2.2. Does anyone know if I have any hope of getting an offer?
Best of luck to everyone !!
Congratulations! Hopefully you won't be waiting too long.
Congrats!
Work / family life is worth more than money.
Nobody ever says they wish they had worked more on their deathbed, always that they spent more time with the people they love.
Got my interview results for Dublin in 6 days. Delighted with how I did.
All I can do now is wait.
Anyone know what Batch / Number they’re up to for placement for the comp?
Yeah I would just to see if they can do anything for you!
I did my interview for Carlow on Friday and received my results yesterday, OOM 2.
Anyone else here on the Carlow panel? I wonder will it kick off in Jan?
I am walking away from a job that is over double the money commuting to Dublin so I hope its a good decision, work/family life will definitely be better.
Thanks so much, and huge congrats to you also!
would you recommend contacting the clearance@public jobs before I am assigned a department?
Congrats! Great news 🥳
So you are asked to send proof you qualify (college results) ID, Proof of Address, email address for references for the past 3 years. You need to sign a few declarations.
The one thing you need, that in my opinion would take time if you didn’t have, is the proof of your eligibility, so in my case as I am in the open competition only, it’s either Leaving Cert results/College results, so if you do have physical proof of either, I’d be asking the awarding body for proof now.
Hope that helps?
The very best of luck 🍀🍀☺️
Wow! That’s brilliant! Hopefully some movement will happen for you quick enough 😁
Probation is 12 months
Annual leave starts at 23 days and increases by 1 after 5,10, 12 and 14 years
Flexi who knows, v department dependant, most don't have it now since before the pandemic though so until back in the office full time
Fantastic news, congrats🤗. I did my interview Friday 01/10, got my results also today, so fast!!
Placed OOM 5, Batch 1.3- Open Stream for Cork.
brilliant score for the open stream!! well done!!
I’m sure you could voice your opinion on the matter as Dublin used to be divided into sections rather than just one county!
Any word yet for yourself?
fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻
Interview Thursday 30/09 and results today!
So quick!
I’m on the Interdepartmental stream and placed OOM 5-10 😁
Best of luck all, absolutely delight with myself!
Can I ask what documents they asked for as I have been given a number on the panel and wish to get organised myself.
Congratulations to you 😊
You can only defer it it's more than 45km as far as I know
Just wondering does anyone know what qualifications would be considered the same level or what standard would be considered the same or higher than this?
TIA
(ii) have obtained in the Established Leaving Certificate Examination a minimum of Grade D (or post 2017 Leaving Certificate O6 grade) at Ordinary level in Mathematics and Irish or English, having obtained a minimum of Grade C (or post 2017 Leaving Certificate H4 grade) in at least five subjects at Higher level; or hold a qualification, that in the opinion of the Public Appointments Service, is of a standard in terms of both level and volume of learning that is of at least an equivalent or higher standard;
Had my interview on Thursday 30th Sep and I’ve just got my results & I passed! Very quick turn around but absolutely delighted 😃
My OOM is 63 for Dublin Open Stream haven’t a clue how long I’ll be waiting but my main concern is being placed somewhere that’s accessible by public transport as I don’t currently drive.
Has anyone contacted PAS about this kind of thing before they are placed in a department?
Can anybody post a link to the terms and conditions that go with the EO role such as probation period, number of holidays, flexitime (if available) etc.
When I look back at the communications I received during the process, I cannot find this type of information.
I'm going through clearance now and its looking positive so would like to review as much details on the job spec as possible before I'm formally offered a position.
For those that have gone into clearance were you notified by email or on publicjobs?
Hiya
It is for the Open for Longford. I am batch 2.
After the E-tray I was OOM 3 and then after the interview I was OOM 3!
Hope that answers your question. I will post here if I get any more information.! Other posters in the past have recommended emailing PAS to see how many have been called etc.
Im in two minds one minute I think it went well but theres one or 2 questions I didnt answer the way I wanted to so I want to be put out of my misery 😂😂
I was under 80 on the open stream after the Etray. But they seem to be constantly filling EO vacancies so I cant imagine you are going to be sitting too long!
