What people forget is that borders and border control has existed the planet over for hundreds of years... if I want to go to Burundi for a holiday next March, I cannot. Unless I adhere to their regulations and I can be refused entry. The authorities in Burundi set and enforce entry rules... not an African political / economic union.... the country controls its borders.

Sweden would be exhibit A in how its a failure, not from people pushing it, from allowing in thousands of people from far different cultures who have no respect for their adopted country or way of life

Sweden has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. The "no go" thing is bullshit. They might not be as safe as central Stockholm or Gothenburg but theyre not dangerous.
Most of these "no go" places are safer than any semi rough place you could name in Ireland. Theres been an awful load of sh1te talked about Sweden in the last year with Covid aswell from people who clearly have never been there.
