It's like a lot of Sinn Fein proposals, ask a few questions and it all comes crumbling down. Look anyone can make up a alternative which they know will never work or never get implemented. The fact he couldn't even answer the basic questions confirms SF have learned nothing since the general election manifesto. Any number or question was thrown over the wall for someone else to answer. The above is the problem I find with SF and it reminds me of US politics. When you are in US you will see a political broadcast and it has nothing to do with what the person can change just about how terrible his/her opposition are
Similar to SF, they just want to fire mud at teh government, once they have to actually discuss their own strategy/plans it falls to pieces like the interview above. It’s point in every direction and waffle
Now maybe some people like that, I don’t and it just confirms they haven’t a clue how to fix anything.

The answer to every question from SF or supporters is something about the opposition. Shows they have no actual plan or supporters are not confident they have either. Instead of discussing how good the HSE plan is you decided to fired something back about FG.
It is very concerning when a guy says he has the plan to fix the HSE but doesn't understand what a modular build is. When asked about the cost of a hospital bed responded about FG. When asked about consultants had no idea how much they earn, how they would be paid and how a extra tax on them would not end up with losing consultants instead of hiring them.
Then came out with some line about people wanting to pay more tax. He got half a story here, people said they didn't want a tax cut but instead better services. They didn't say they are willing to pay more tax.
He kept saying he has talked to XYZ yet doesnt seem to have bothered having any conversations with consultants or GP for that matter.
As he is health he has to be one of the better SF TD's, if this is all they can get for health then what is coming behind him for the other departments.
My core point is that Mairia Cahill has apologised and disowned her support of paramilitary organisations, Mary-Lou hasn't.
That means, that as of today, Mary-Lou McDonald has closer links to paramilitary organisations than Mairia Cahill. That is a fact.
You can counter with the fact that over their lifetimes, Mairia has had more, primarily because of the family she was born into. That Mairia has left that evil past behind while Mary-Lou has embraded it, despite no familial links, says an awful lot more.

As I said previously, I fully respect Máiría Cahill's move away from paramilitarism.....but if we do a lifetime analysis, Mary Lou has been a hurler on the ditch and had a few rants.....Máiría has actively been involved with paramilitarism. Your usual SF hatred completely blinds you to the actual real life impact factor.
If I hypothetically set a bomb and deeply regretted it, I'd still have more responsibility for paramilitarism than some idiot unrepentantly chanting Up The Ra in a pub....simple really.
