Anton does a review of 'fascinating' stories from the week gone by, with Dave, on Dave's 2FM show each Sunday 1pm to 3pm. This has been ongoing for around the past 2 years.

It's a shame 2fm didn't get Anton to fill-in for Fanning, McSharry or Jennifer Z the years he was locked out of Marconi House.

I'm on a €20/28-days PAYG plan. Every so often my operator gives me €5 credit for whatever reason. My deal has 20g data and enough phone minutes that I've literally nothing to spend the credit on, or any way to spend it, except charities and competitions like this, so why not?
The completely worn out CD of the month has to be that god awful Tom Grennan tune. The obsession with whining Ed Sheeran / Dermot Kennedy clones shows no sign of abating. It seems to get played at least every 2nd hour of the day.
Pink gets played every second song recently.

Is it just me, or does that Tom Grennan guy have terrible diction? Seems to say the words funny, like he has marbles in his mouth. There is an Irish band, can't remember which one (Picture This?), which do the same.
Was Tom Grennan not some introverted indie singer songwriter originally? Has he just changed tack all of a sudden with these pop songs?
I remember one weekend either Today FM or 2fm, can't remember, put Dermot Kennedy Out Numbered and Tom Grennan A Little bit of Love on back to back and I thought someone had f**ked up and played the same artist twice.

Picture This are a crime against music.
My brother is on a €20 payg plan with 3. For a while he could enter that competition without been charged for some reason.
But just last week after he entered he checked his credit and it took €5 for one entry, he thought it was a mistake so he entered again the next day and it took €5 Again. That's the last time he'll enter that competition.
Would he not, like, get on to Three and look for a refund?
Wait, Three's customer service is non-existent, it'd cost more than a fiver's worth of his time.
Anyone who is still on an old legacy PAYG plan will always have plenty of spare credit for those 57XXX text competitions. The days of topping up your phone and being able to keep the credit indefinitely is very much a thing of the past for anyone who has changed price plan or bought an new SIM card in recent times.

He’s a gem but sadly the “music” is mostly the same. Clearly the presenters have no say in what’s played.
Yeah sure Ian Dempsey often mentions needing permission or getting in trouble for playing something not on the playlist.
