I'm shocked how bad AJ was.
Justice there, atleast they didn't do him dirty. Great fight by Usyk. Fury must be raging.
Thank god....joshua does not deserve a rematch
Olympic champ, undisputed CW champ in its absolute peak of competition and now beats Joshua at HW. He's an all time great. Too slick Usyk.
Do folks still think Dillian Whyte beats Usyk?
Judges were actually mostly on point for once. 117-112 and 116-112 were actually spot on cards.
AJ needs to go back to 250+ for the rematch?
Let him off.
Move over for a proper genuine athlete.
Embrace the grind.
I'll take that, thank you very much! 😁
Something really off with him…novice like.
We might just have to revisit the Holyfield v Usyk argument now that was absolutely class.
Usyk was brilliant tonight and came so close to a stoppage, delighted he got the result I was worried when it went to points
they are asking Usyk if he’s god enough to be a heavy weight ff - the three belts he just won proves he is
well done. I’m delighted to say you were right all along. Great call and you took on anyone who had an argument including me. Fair play to you
TBH he's just not as good as he's hyped to be.
When he gets hit with more than 3 or 4 times in a row he shells up in fear. He used to do it before the first Ruiz fight but it's even more pronounced since the KO. He's lost a lot of heart, even if those last 2 rounds he should have known he needed a KO and went hell for leather but he still played it safe so he wouldn't get hurt. Fury and Wilder would have a field day with him.
AJ was in two battles, two tests of his heart, failed both miserably .
Usyk's discipline was impressive. How many times did he rock him but stick to the game plan.
If AJ fights him again then his career is over because he won't recover from 2 defeats on the trot. Usyk is a far superior boxer and nothing AJ does will change that. He is not going to beat Usyk.
His best chance is to take on a likely beaten Wilder and even that fight he is the underdog in, but at least Wilder doesn't have the boxing skill to embarass AJ like Usyk did.
No. Holyfield at HW is leagues better than that AJ performance.
I don’t think AJ has the spirit to be a fighter anymore. The pressure of being champ maybe.
Even the likes of Whyte and chisora seem tougher mentally.
Well deserved Usyk, Aj very one dimensional all power nothing else would love to see Tyson Fury & Usyk fight would be a brilliant technical fight.
Is there a mandatory rematch if not AJ should go to the back of the line outclassed tonight by a faster and better boxer.
Yeah, but Usyk hurt AJ several times tonight and nearly stopped it and he doesn't carry much power, I can't see him surviving Wilder even though he can't box..
If I'm AJ I'm going to take the chance on the knockout over being completely outclassed again.
We'll see what Matchroom do but one more defeat and AJ is finished as the money machine he is for Hearn right now.
Fair play to Eddie Hearn giving an honest interview and saying the better man won.
He’d beat Wilder handily. Of course, a KO chance for Wilder. Other than this, Usyk stops him..
Disappointed he didn't get KO but had no doubt Usyk would win that.
The skill level of these HWs is very poor, Joshua had a punchers chance that was all.
As someone said on here, great little un beats a good big un.
Are you saying Joshua would beat Wilder handily??
Who wins in fury vs usyk?
Hey that's my line!
Disappointed the KO didn't come but was hugely confident Usyk would win.
People talk of Joshua being timid, you cannot hit what's not always in front of you. He knew if he chased him swinging punches he'd gas out.
A great cruiserweight just beat a decent heavyweight champion.
