There is indeed Brendan Bendar, word in the papers is that young Harris is full of so much flipping anger, he's actually seriously considering making a complaint.
Imagine that, being wrongly named for doing something you didn't do, and you only seriously contemplate complaining about it.
I'm convinced.
Good lad….. delighted for you.
“Best leave it for a day or so”? Is that a mod telling me or Shebean?
More uncivil posting. More backseat modding. More trying to divert the topic from SF. Any more of any of that and posters will be banned from posting in the thread and probably pick up more formal sanctions at the same time
No, not at all. Sorry if you misunderstood. Just pointing out a lot of anger in here.
O’Broin getting ripped a new one in the Dáil.
Fair play to the Táiniste, said it exactly as it is.
Bullies…
Disgusting carry on, SF get caught out in a lie and then start roaring......
🤣 Is this an attempt to repackage Varadkar getting absolutely flogged on social media and elsewhere for his Let them eat cake comments in the Dail yesterday?
A bit of back and forth in a parliamentary setting is not bullying or roaring abuse, harden the f*ck up and do your jobs or get off the stage FG. It's a democracy, and nobody is going to fall at their feet because of heavily focused grouped communication strategies. Gaelers are at the bottom of the barrel and are getting their hands splintered from the scraping.
Sinister, chilling, shadowy figures etc etc
No comment on the fact O'Broin forgot he voted for the policy, shows he hasn't a clue what he is doing.
If you really really think so Brendan. Do yourself a favour and don't look for mentions of Varadkar's contributions in the Dail yesterday on Twitter, it's not pretty reading for you and I worry about your blood pressure.
Appreciate that Mr Y, 120/80 hasn’t moved up for a while in fairness.
Don’t pay too much heed to Twitter, usually influenced by a bunch of lads in jocks sitting on the floor before going in for the bit of ‘cozying’ on the late shift.
So I’ll pass on that offer…….soz dude.
Can someone do me a favour and translate this for me? Google Translate doesn't have angryman to English as an option yet regrettably.
Just to repeat, you are OK with the Opposition Housing spokesperson standing up in the Dail and giving out about, not one but two housing policies when in fact, he voted FOR one of them before and was FOR the other one a few years ago.....
Makes sense! LOLz
The king of Bull$hit artists the SF boys are!
O'Broin, shown up for the little thug that he is.
"with the greatest of respect" when he was showing none at all. Varadkar is right about them.
Am I missing something here? There was a fairly tepid exchange about housing policy that wouldn't raise anyone's pulse would it have happened in Westminster and you call people little thugs and invoke words like respect? 🤣
Lads, lads, lads - I know morale is low on your end but you don't have to make a complete show of yourselves.
I suppose when that kind of behaviour has been normalised and internalised, we see how bad things are getting. Posters not seeing anything wrong in O'Broin first blatantly lying and then trying to shout down those who called out his lies show how bad it has got.
Calling him a thug isn't very mature. Looks to me like he was just 'chilling' 😜
Many a poster make a career out of defending lies. Must get tiring.
"Hurlers on the ditch" is the best description. Just all buzz words with nothing behind it, one minute they are voting for something, the next minute they are criticising the same thing. Proves they would be a shambles if they every got into government. They would actually have to make a decision then.
God yeah, We'd probably have a chronic housing crisis with parents paying for students to live in hotels because they can't even get a houseshare if SF were in power. Hang on a second...
I suppose they could help with the housing issue as loads of people working would leave Ireland, including the majority of the consultants etc as they get taxed out of it, but sure who needs all those highly educated people who pay the majority of the tax already, sure we will be grand without doctors etc.....
Students wouldn't have a university place, so it wouldn't matter that they couldn't find somewhere to stay. You have no idea how bad it would get under SF, just look at the North, with their hospitals in bits.
P.S. Nice gif, but like all those gifs, pointless.
I wouldn't know.
Students wouldn't have a university place? 🤣
Blanch, you're resorting to boogyman nonsense, and it's completely tone-deaf given the situation students and parents find themselves in. The USI are reporting kids are dropping out already. Go to their parents who worked their boll*cks off to give their chance the shot at university and are paying through the nose for a hotel and if they're lucky a box room, give them that swill and see how far you'll get.
You're truly disgracing yourself with what you're posting.
Boogyman and fear-mongering politics straight out of the focus group when people's life chances are being reduced. You're a sad bunch.
Be careful using the word chilling, it's a word used by FFG in the Dail when describing SF.
The two party system has produced an unsustainable housing situation with many people effectively homeless and many people with no prospect of getting a home or even a rented room. There are obscene profitering in the rented sector and no will to rain it in because those who have the power to do so are profiting from it. Its a crisis thats been 40years in the making and a serious alternative strategy needs putting in place to cure the crisis. SF are literally the only party proposing the hard controls and interventions to return property to its rightful purpose - providing homes not income. Veradkar and his ilk are the source of this crisis and his feigned offense is laughable and an insult to the 100's of thousands suffering under the housing market he and his party have wrought.
The last time their was a mass exodus of workers was post 2010 when SF I mean FF were in power, I remember it well.
How many are still gone?
You will find the drain from Northern ireland is constant and permanent, even after the Good Friday, something we should not be looking to emulate
"You will find the drain from Northern ireland is constant and permanent, even after the Good Friday, something we should not be looking to emulate"
Have you any stats on this?
And before you get the stats, what's the relevance to the mass exodus here when the ass fell out of things due to SF not being in govt can I ask?
Most of the drain from Northern Ireland, is students from a unionist background studying in the UK. Once they graduate, they won't return home.
