Can't wait to hear Eamon Ryans speech on electrocuted piss
Was on a fun ride today. Beautiful warm day, even a t short was too warm.
I was amazed how quickly a courting couple got dressed when 120 horses and ponies came crashing through their secluded spot by the river bank.
A story they can tell the grandchildren.
They were on a fun ride too lol
Ya shes back at work but gets tired very easy
Glad to hear she is on the road to recovery, they say its a long road for some people all right though... Best of luck to ye all Naughto...
Hope all is well now naughto ?
Just had a dept inspection.
One action I've to do is move a watertrough. Inspector measured the distance from the watertrough across a ditch, through a neighbours field, across another ditch, then to a dry drain on the map. Said it was less than 20 metres.

Neighbour must have a very small field
And neighbour has a watertrough between mine and the drain on the other side of their ditch. But not in derogation.
If the same rules apply there won't be any point in their field where a watertrough will be allowed.
Have been with imsuremyvan for last two years, renewal was €460 to axa.
went to Quotedevil who managed €355, through axa as well.
Getting insurance, it’s like a random number generator 🙄
Does that 'dry drain' not have to be a watercourse - marked blue on the appropriate Ordnance map?
This part is dry as it only flows water when it rains on the road. Very upper end part of a blue marked watercourse on the Ordnance map. It's a boundary of two townslands with another townsland across the road. So that may have had a bearing on having it on the map.
Is it just me or is it very unnaturally mild for this time of the year in The East of The Country?
House martins still in the nest tonight on the gable of house, wasps & bees active yesterday too round this way & small numbers of flies.remarkable season.
Could all be very old or not present before we see such a consistent season again, unless it's a new normal.
17'C reading on the car ten minutes ago, thought it was cool enough for the first part of the day this morning all the same though.
Shssssssssh
Maybe ive a high temperature is all, awaiting a test result from this morning so ill know more tomorrow hopefully. Mass testing it was similar to working livestock up a race single file in, tag read, given an EID tag linked to the hard tag, sent one of four ways, swabbed sent on youre way, EID, Hard Tag and Sample all cross linked Hard Tag stamped and out the gate.
Bit of a military exercise in Dublin City atm.
Photo popped up on my social media and a post of us sitting round in shorts enjoying the sunshine this time last year.
I think it’s kinda normal, feeling autumn with first nights frosts creeping in.
And this day 2 year's ago, Cavan Town was flooded out of it, from the roundabout up to mc Donald's was closed off.
And this day 3 years ago was a day very similar to today and I was watching a Krone Big X being lifted into the air with a crane for the stand at the ploughing!
Ya, typical enough September I think. Ground conditions are excellent alright. May, early June were wet so there's plenty making up to be done.
Lucky escape for this driver. Hope its nothing too serious - https://twitter.com/DubFireBrigade/status/1439246596693241859
The reason for the little field/strip was probably to allow his cows to get to water.
The trend these past few years is a wavy jet stream. So a prolonged wet spell followed by a prolonged dry spell.
As long as we don't get a prolonged cold spell in winter I'll be happy.
Very hard to change whatever spell we get into too when we go into it.
Just had a callback from insuremyvan there as to why I hadn’t been back on about the quote for the renewal, he dropped another €75 down to €385, just like that, for no reason other than I said they were way too dear.
this rubbish makes me mad.
anyone watch Balmoral show today live streamed on Youtube? I watched it and while it doesn't beat being there it made me miss not being able to show this year. Makes you wonder why the likes of Tullamore couldn't have happened around now and just focus more on the cattle showing rather than the endless stands of shite.
But it’s the stands of shiite that takes in the money and the non farming punters. Same as the ploughing, it’s more a massive jumble sale than anything now, and yet I really miss going.
yes have one like that ( maybe 30 ft wide by 300 m long ) as you say for access to river. Called " the slang" whether thats some irish word or what i dont know
