He was being critical of FG engaging in the sting operation when they should have been addressing the cronyism. Harris was a side note.

Carthy accused Harris of being the point of the FG sting. TBF, accusing someone of being the leak, when there was a leak, in a party were the leader is a leak and all the senior members are proven liars, as spoken about and speculated upon broadly, is a world away from people like yourself accusing people of paedophilia or supporting paedophiles like you did, with no back up or apology.

Him citing Harris is what we've all been discussing for months. It's an uncomfortable story for Fine Gael and nothing more. If Carthy is suspected of anything illegal I'm sure he'll be under criminal investigation like Varadkar.

I have been very consistent in my view that the newfound love some have for SF will melt away like the snow when they realise that SF are not the Knights in shining armour some claim them to be, as per their record in the North.

Carthy is allowed make accusations in the Dail using Dail privilege based on scuttery gossip he picked up but for which he had no evidence, but Mark is not allowed on this thread to make accusations based on evidence he actually saw online.

Harris was a side note. He was speaking on the sting. He claimed Harris was the reason for it. He was criticising FG for engaging in the sting to try catch Harris instead of addressing the crony makey-up job and lies. How you can compare that to Mark trying to use alleged internet comments to blame SF for the attack on Varadkar with a straight face is beyond me.
