I would assume that the exercising of dail privilege is a very serious matter and that it can be exercised only once every six months . I do not know if that is per party or evert six months of dail sitting time.
what I found astounding though was what Matt McCarty , in a recent radio interview, did not discuss it with anyone in the party - including MLM. I never knew that SF members could act on such matters alone?

How do you know it's not fact? O''Donovan has not denied the sting and why hasn't Harris got the Dail record corrected? If I was Harris and I was innocent I would have gotten that done first thing last Thursday morning. The longer Harris does nothing, the more guilty he looks.

He referred to the sting FG set up to try catch the leaker. The only thing he did was claim they were trying to catch Harris. If he knew that it wasn't Harris, you'd have a point. However the government have set the precedence where much much worse is acceptable behaviour so he's nothing to worry about. In any case Harris won't do anything.

I don't know if there was a leak from Cabinet but a secret isn't a secret if more than one person knows about it. If information was received by a journalist, it could have come from a number of places.
