How dear is tax over there? I've a feeling a 3litre costs a lot less to tax over there than it does here.
They seem to have a useage charge, not sure if that's administered via your recorded mileage at an annual inspection or declaration or how it works.

My 3 litre was $77 for the year, insurance is optional too. Insurance was around $250 if I'd have bothered.
WOF - their NCT varies from garage to garage but starts around $25
And don't forget their dollar is worth half what a euro is worth.
It makes you wonder. I suppose they wouldn't give away gas and oil field out at sea to foreign companies either. I know that is totally off topic but that still bothers me to this day. Contract or not we could still take it from them if we really wanted but our government are fools.
It's a good 10 years since I was there but I'd fill a tank In a 2 litre turbo legacy for about $50. So about €35.
One of the best places to own a car in the world.
New RR Ghost in Lewis Motors
€1000 more than i paid for it in 2018. What a time to be alive.
Toyota Soarer
I'm not into Jap stuff usually but that's gorgeous
Soarers don't seem to get as much love as they should because they are a seriously cool looking car
You would hardly know its 30 years old by how it looks obviously the interior is dated though.
Holy moly that soarer is gorgeous. There's probably a strong crowd in Ireland that would prefer a banger is200 over it though.
One thing I just noticed now is I think the tyres are stretched. I heard they aren't great for handling or high speeds.
I wouldn't say those tyres are that stretched
what be stretched tyres?😶
Getting a narrower tyre on the wheel like putting a 205/40 on a 8j wheel, mainly for clearance if your lowering the car just don't do too much stretching and it's perfectly fine
Fitting smaller tyres on a larger alloy. Like 195 on a 8 inch rim.
Very nice 850R for sale. Bit pricey but they have a good following.
Pity it's not the estate.
Almost 100k for a 462bhp Touareg R:

Surprised someone didn't try to commercialize it.
Touraegs of old always looked beefy and powerful but that looks awful...
Crewcab!
Big difference in price alright if you can claim the VAT back, however being petrol so not being able to claim diesel VAT might put a dent in it from a business view point.
Definitely. The running costs would probably be twice as high as something like an Audi SQ5
Jap import gti Lupo! Seems very expensive, besides that why even import such a thing?
That is dear. They are light though so quicker than they would look power wise.
Yeah I've read that they are quick enough. Why import it from Japan though? For a Lupo, wouldn't it be better to import one from the North? I assume the UK is a no-go with Brexit..
Sold by what must the most expensive place to buy BMW in Ireland.

OK, it's not a car, but I didn't know where else to put it and it deserves sharing.
2 minute MOT history check shows its had at least half a million miles clocked off it (last recorded mileage was January 2017!)
