Should they become commonplace here? With all the problems with cocaine and cannabis use among all ages here, it seems the best way to quash it would be for more companies to introduce drug testing like they do in the U.S.
I have a relative who works in HR for a very big company. They had a perfect candidate (went to an Ivy League) but after his drug test came back, they informed him that he couldn't get the job. AFAIK, I've never heard of that happening here besides on building sites.
But then again, law enforcement and the courts around drugs in the States is much more harsh than anything here.
