Elton John has rescheduled all his European 2021 gigs to 2023, he has some injury and needs an operation to sort it out.
3 Arena gigs now moved to March 2023
Heh, not for me but wil call it whatever they want if they want to pay me to ;)
Its the 3Olympia FFS
For Those I Love in the Olympia rescheduled from 1st October to 17th November. https://twitter.com/3olympiatheatre/status/1437793271737200645?s=19
Good to see reschedulings for later this year instead of 2022 and beyond
Ricky Gervais rescheduled from 6th October to 22nd November
Attention Bebe email, moved to the 22nd Oct - will be some shin dig
I’d be expecting a few announcements coming soon for this venue. Theres a lot of scambling going on, in the background, to work out the logistics of the live gigs reboot. I’m expecting/hoping to be spoiled for choice
Hoping there can be December gigs in St Lukes. Great venue especially that time of year. Would love to see Talos or Losa Hannigan there.
Live at Saint Lukes - Cork
Bell X1, 3 x October ‘21 gigs- 14th,15,16th
now rescheduled to April 2022, new dates TBC.
Just missed the cut on full capacity gigs from October 22nd.
The really shocking thing about Leo's flying across to the high risk UK to attend a festival on the weekend his fellow citizens in Ireland could not is what the festival line up says about his dreadful taste in music.
Lot of words there to explain you don't understand the 3 arena, the upper tier can easily be closed of to allow an 8000 capacity show, there's even a fancy curtain that pulls across. So there's no reason why the *checks notes* one show booked between now and the 22nd can't happen.

Tomorrow marks a part return for indoor gigs in Ireland
'Organised indoor events and mass gatherings will return.
Where everyone is vaccinated or 'immune' (either fully vaccinated or recovered within the previous six months), - or if under-18, accompanied by an adult - the capacity of a venue can reach 60%.
Where there are unvaccinated people attending an event, or the immunity status is mixed, the rules for these types of events will remain as they currently are for September.
For indoor live music, drama, live entertainment or sporting events, the audience should be fully seated, according to the guidelines.
The easing of the capacity limit does not apply to large, privately organised social events'
60% won't suite some places like the 3Arena and the 22nd October will be there day with the 100% capacity set to return. Touch wood that date will happen as planned as another delay could be disastrous
I wouldnt be surprised if this ends up selling out just because its the day after the restrictions are lifted, tbh im tempted to grab tickets for that reason ha
Very nice seeing things like this
What's happening with the Ricky Gervais gigs? Last I read they were rescheduled for early October...
Seems to be going ahead?
November and December 2021 concerts sounding promising
As stated a lot might be to do with acts touring. A lot waiting till 2022
When are the titty bars open?
Any mention of 100% capacity returning ?
60% for the 3Arena would be about 7500

I'm hoping that bodes well for the Offspring because I can't see them pulling a sell out show in the 3Arena, if guess 7-8k with curtained off parts
Hopefully it does, be nice to know in advance so people could plan accordingly
Elton John starting his run of UK arenas from the 30 October with the Dublin shows set to take place 3rd/4th Dec 2021. Might take a trip across the water if the Dublin shows won't be going ahead as planned
Talk of all restrictions easing by 22nd October so not sure if that means 100% capacity by then but could be. https://twitter.com/MichealLehane/status/1432408571942211593?s=19
No date set 'yet'
Sounding promising though and could be a good end to the year for live entertainment fans
Days N' Daze cancelled their show next month jus there....sigh
No reason why indoor gigs can't be full capacity by November
Acts touring is another issue with 2022 been a massive year for gigs. Hard to see American bands touring Europe in 2021. Some UK acts might do the UK and Ireland arenas this year
Depends on event really. Say most gigs are being sold at full capacity so wouldn't be viable to have at 50% without government funding. Lot of gigs would either be rescheduled gigs or new gigs for next year. There's some small gigs happening in Pavilion in Dun Laoighaire from today to next weekend and only 50 capacity. The planned outdoor ones over next weeks would probably have funding so based on current capacity. Guess they could sell more tickets if it came to it.
Are tickets being sold based on a full capacity at the minute? And if so, what happens if capacity is cut. Early ones that bought get to go?
