For the other counties in the last batch how many vacancies would you say we're in each I would think at least 5 to make it worth the competition.
I doubt there would ever be 5 AP vacancies in some of the regional locations…. Hope i’m wrong but working down the country you’d hear if there were. That said, they are probably thinking ahead with upcoming retirements.
I was placed 3 on the panel for Dublin Open & Inter and the 2 on the Meath Open & Inter. Haven't heard anything yet.

No you could still get an offer from the open as far as i know, you just wont get an interdept offer for your 2nd location. Maybe someone will correct me if im wrong on that.
I see from the 2021 AP board that you have been appointed AP. Congrats on the promotion. Im a couple of positions behind you on the OOM for Dublin so guess I’ll be contacted very soon.
It mentions on PAS’ FAQs that prior to assignment each candidate is informed of the commencement of a ‘clearance’ process. I’m wondering how long this took for you as I’m yet to notify my current employer and will need to provide one month notice.
Congratulations on the promotion. I am already in the civil service so clearance process very quick. After clearance you agree a start date, so if you have to give one months notice it should not be an issue for you. Best of luck with it.
