I know others would be far more in tune with this than me, but do know that Howard Noonan is at Old Wesley with his brother. They had it up wishing him luck on their social media few weeks back.
Think the lads coming out of school, on the whole, would depend on the CAO offers which is probably this week.
Forgot CAO was so late this year, thanks.
I see some teams published teamsheets for this weekend, Lansdowne, Old Belvo, St. Marys and others have not Clontarf, Terenure, UCD, DUFC.
Leinster League Results
Old Belvedere 22 UCD 21
Old Wesley 18 Clontarf 19
St Marys 46 Trinity 24
Lansdowne 31 Terenure 14
Blackrock 17 Greystones 19
Enniscorthy 14 Naas 22
Great win for Marys over Trinity - big margin there
Very happy with our win over Terenure. Both teams clearly missing a lot of players but a very physical tough game with no quarter given from either side
Heard AIL Mick McCormack(St. Marys) is training with leinster seniors at the moment.
Anyone got anymore transfer news ? Going to try and compile it all here and put up here in one large post
Ben Griffin is with Clontarf now, Trinity last season.
Yeah, told we fairly dominated in the scrum but Lansdowne were very clinical and full value for the win.
Danny Kenny, ex pro for Ealing and over in Italy in with Greystones as player coach
Conor Dean gone back to St Marys
The Sligo captain from last few seasons, Shane Hehir, has joined Belvo
Ian Cassidy is back at Wesley from America and Nathan Randles from Shannon has joined them (but think that happened in 2020 for the Community Series)
Few more for your list, asked a few lads I went to college with who are in different clubs, some you might know already
Corey Reid: Buccaneers to Lansdowne
David Moran: UCD to Lansdowne
Kyle Cahir: Nenagh to Belvo
Robbie Deegan: Shannon to Belvo
Dominic Day (recent ex UK Pro) to Malahide
William Fay: Lansdowne to Old Wesley
Sean Goodburn: Barnhall to Wanderers
Terenure have signed a centre from UCC Peter Sylvester
what brings dominic day to malahide? i thought injury forced his retirement
A glance on Social Media shows he is married to that Irish model one Nadia Forde, assume they are living here now
Don't know much on the Munster clubs, other than watching them play, but got these too for your list Stainalert
Bailey Faloon: Garryowen to Young Munster
James Kendrick: Cashel to Garryowen
UCD side for last weekend: 15 Harry Donnelly; 14 Ross Deegan; 13 Jack Ringrose (Capt); 12 David Ryan; 11 Alex O’Grady; 10 James Tarrant; 9 Robert Gilsenan; 1 Chris Hennessy; 2 Bobby Sheehan; 3 Evin Coyle; 4 Jack Gardiner; 5 Bobby Leahy; 6 Dan O’Donovan; 7 JJ Landers; 8 Ronan Foley. Bobby Sheehan is a battering ram. still not sure i'd have taken McKee over him last summer. Moved to 6 in the 2nd half too.
Sheehan and Gilsenan combine to score a try here: https://youtu.be/kXRc-0WV5MI?t=3982
Gilsenan gone off, thought he played well.. hopefully he can stay healthy and get a good run at it
Bobby Sheehan very impressive too, along with Foley.
thanks
i dont do social media :D
This weeks Leinster League fixtures:

UCD v Old Wesley
1B
Trinity v Terenure
St Marys v Lansdowne
2A

Naas v Blackrock

2C
Tullamore v Barnhall
Buccaneers v Corinthians and Ballina v Galwegians this weekend in Connacht league
Sligo are unbeaten at top but not playing this weekend. Lead Ballina by 3 so win for Ballina in their final game puts pressure on Sligo though if Ballina were to lose it could open door for Corinthians
Great game of rugby. Surprised to see how dominant Belvo were in the scrum. I think the ref was extremely generous to UCD on a few of those scrum calls too. Front 5 had no answer at times.
Belvos lineout was an absolute shambles until they started throwing to the front. I think they lost 5 on the bounce? UCD very impressive in that area. Good movement and excellent jumpers.
Belvo probably deserved winners on balance. They left some absolute sitters out there. Need to work on the last pass. 3 times I counted one last pass to score.
The Buccs v Corinthian game should be a good game as both teams will be ramping up for AIL and neither club will want to lose this game. Ballina are flying at the moment and galwegians will be hammered again if they don't play their best players
