    Bottas could be crucial in this race.

    They reckon Lewis is doing a two stop - maybe keep Bottas on the one.

    If Max decides to try copy Lewis - they both will have to pass Bottas if the Mercs split the strategy.

    Doubt it for a while, he was what, 20 seconds clear coming out of the pits and he's pulled another load of time in clear air and fresh tyres.

    Bottas is going to be important for Mercedes here. They'll want him to find a way that allows Hamilton to take the lead either before Bottas pits or just after.

    Hope they make the right choice.

    They surely won't be pitting him until Max and Lewis catch and pass.

    20 laps on the soft so 30 on the mediums and lower fuel should be pretty easy to do. Bit of interest coming up to the stops, Verstappen will need a full 2 second gap to stay out the extra lap. If there's a gap to pit into I think the sensible thing would be to get in around lap 45. Would leave enough life in the tyres and time to catch Hamilton if they somehow could go to the end.

    Bottas should grow a pair and look after himself today, the team have dumped him and he has to put himself first and try and finish the highest that he can instead of being a rear gunner for Hamilton.

    Anything else or deciding to not do the above, suggests that he's too submissive to ever make the grade and I don't like to see weakling drivers like that.

    All very interesting, Sky of the opinion that Max is dropping off to avoid catching Bottas and bringing him into it like Mercedes want.
