Ireland’s most ‘Father Ted’ tourist attraction

Was just in Easkey this morning and came across this stunning addition to the Wild Atlantic Way. Accompanied by a brown tourist sign and a 4.4 rating on google (yes, a 4.4)

So wondered what other examples there are out there of ‘Father Ted’ like attractions. Needs to be recognised on google or trip advisor, preferably with a rating, and extra credit if it has its own sign.

And maybe even a legend (in this case, said to have been cast here by Fionn Mac Cumhal from the summits of the Ox Mountains during a giants stone-throwing competition)

I passed the Fr Ted house today and took a selfie there. Just for a laugh with my nephew in Canada as he’s a massive Fr Ted fan.

There's one a little past the Merry Ploughboy in the Dublin/Wicklow mountains. I can't remember exactly where, but went there as a teenager and it is indeed real. I have a vague memory of it being very close to Rockbrook school.

I've been to one of those magic hills outside Jenkinstown in Louth and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

Fully aware of the fact that it is an optical illusion but it is a damned good one at that and did have me wondering if it was in fact genuine.

I flew out of knock airport once and they demanded I give them money(cash) so that they can improve the airport. Normally that kind of thing is included in the price of the ticket.

Ryanair refuse to pay landing fees per passenger, hence why the airport has to charge this. Also, if you check the fares out of Knock are almost always cheaper than elsewhere. Great little airport.
