Hi,
I was meant to sit Contract in March but doing it In October instead. I'm fairly okay with it but finding it difficult to pick topics.
Any advice on the following - what i can add/take away (hopefully the latter....) Not doing a course this time round so don't have the added bonus of lecturer's top picks!!
Thanks in advance. :)
Does anyone have a PDF manual for property they could send me. I have materials for every other subject I can trade for. PM me!

Hi
Does anyone have an up to date grid for property and both 2020 papers and March 2021.
Thanks in advance
Gus Hayes
For anybody doing EU; would it be okay doing the following?
Institutions, General Principles, Direct Effect & MSL, Judicial Review, Free Movement of Goods, Competition, Free Movement of persons?
You need to know all three. It's nigh on impossible to answer a cy-pres question without (non-)charitable purpose trusts.
Hey everyone,
For equity, I have been told that charitable trusts, cy-pres and purpose(non-charitable) come up together but from what I can see on the grids, it is usually just charitable and cy-pres together or charitable by itself? Could anyone shed some light on this and whether I can leave out non-charitable.
Thanks
Hey everyone! For those who did equity, does promissory estoppel come up that often?
Hey guys, just wondering whether anyone is selling a copy of the Companies Acts - send me a dm if so. Also would love some suggestions on which topics to focus on for the exam as I'm nervous about cutting too many out! Thanks.
Anyone any advice on shortening down constitution topics? So many of them…
Could anyone please explain the Jackie greene construction case in express terms in contract law? Cannot get my head around it! Thanks
Think they just give you a refund can’t defer it
Can you defer an exam If you have paid for it?
Get a grid. Start with the subjects that come up most often and work your way through to the ones that come up least often until your confident youv enough topics covered to attempt 5 questions.
is it worth leaving out competition law in EU?
Anyone have any suggestions on what to focus on for company? My least favourite subject so any advice would be appreciated! Thank you
Ya I was put through to a voicemail today when I rang also. Very rare that someone actually answers when you are put through to a different department. I'm in contact with the person in charge of fixing the issue by email, but haven't received any response today when i asked when it might be expected to be fixed. I've been trying to resolve payment issues since the 14th of August when I tried to buy past papers, bit of a joke to be honest, but then again completely keeping in line with what I expect from the Law Society judging by what I've experienced since I started doing the FE1's.
hi I’m still in same boat. Message from yesterday is still up on their website. Spoke on phone there and they put me through to a voicemail. I left a message explaining this and hopefully they get back to me.
Hoping they don’t want to lose out on application payments so can apply tomorrow.
Tried to pay again today but it still won't except my payment. Is anybody else in the same boat?
I was the opposite- money came out and I got confirmation, but my application online is stuck at 37% and got an email to say it's incomplete.
Absolutely no idea what to do now as I haven't got a reply by email and they didn't answer any time I called..
Did anybody get an email confirmation of application for FE-1s? Payment just came out of my account and it says I have ordered two sittings on the dashboard.
Just spoke to Law Society. Have been having issues with paying since the 14th of August, some message about 3d secure payment etc. Have been back and forth with them by email but no resolution so far. Lady at reception said something along the lines that she was told to pass on the message that the payment link was down and that applicants would have until tomorrow to pay. I'm just going to wait until tomorrow and try again.
Hey all,
I hope everyone is doing well and getting stuck into prep.
Just putting this out there. I have passed all of the Fe1s over the last year on the first attempt scoring between 68 and 76. I also am educated up to a first-class honors LLM. I am going to start running Fe1 grinds. They can be provided one on one or to a group based on interest and individual need. (materials and notes will also be provided on the topics). Notes will be exam-orientated and up to date and were put together by myself over the last year.
Classes will be approximately 90 minutes long and will cover three to four topics that will be chosen by the individual or the group.
I understand and appreciate that a lot of people doing Fe1s may be a bit strapped for cash so the cost will be relatively low and will vary based on groups etc. If you are or would potentially be interested in this feel free to DM me and I will add you to the Facebook group that will be going live in the middle of this week.
Thanks a mill,
Deadline is today Monday, 23rd August 2021 - the site said midnight but I got a =n email stating 'close of business today'.Clear as mud I know but if you sign up now you will be fine and won't have missed the deadline.
