I would imagine the running costs and insurance for this are mind-blowing. Probably charging 200 per person for a spin.? Fella in Shannon airport was telling me Rescue 115 costs around 4000 an hour when flying, when everything is factored in. Fuel, 4 crew, insurance and maintenance etc. That's a monster of a machine though, an absolute fuel guzzler by all accounts.!!

Folks that Dooradoyle road is going to be great fun when the schools go back with the roadworks it will be a,pernament car park 🤣🤣 They will have to resurface it again with all the holes & bits they have dug up & half arsed filled. It's a comedy them works. You would wonder if u actually need an education to work in the Council nowadays with the way its planned
It was pretty much a car park on Friday.
It might not be an option for you but Dooradoyle is a nice handy distance to cycle and you get to beat all that traffic

even that bike lane is not finished properly, just a half arsed job u know what i mean so mclovin the place is a feck up be lucky if that finished properly in another month. i mean finished properly as in road resurfaced after being all dug up and bike lane properly finshed & stuff like that.
Anybody familiar with parking rules in UL after 5pm? I see information about staff parking been only 8:30am - 5:00pm so that does mean you can park there without a permit after 5pm without potentially being clamped?
As I will be attending for evenings classes which i wasn't expecting this side of 2022 I hadn't really looked into it and the UL website isn't really helpful on it as the UL forum on boards.ie isn't really active.

Saw the Miley Harty funeral cortege speeding out the Dock road toward Askeaton this morning. Horns blaring and loud music blasting from the speakers - including the hearse!! Seems to be a new trend. Going out with a bang.

Had a report of cold-callers, people knocking on doors in the city centre earlier today. Two sets of people came round, separated by five hours, one wanting people to "sponsor a dog" (WTF???)
I got the Dogs Trust guy the other day, told him I wasnt giving him bank details l, "I don't want them ", ok, not giving you cash, g'way to fook!
I had to nip I to the crescent today, big mistake, queue of cars to get out was backed up to near the cinema. Wtf was going on?
There's only one lane open when turning right out of the main exit due to the roadworks.
Them joke of roadworks seen roads being built quicker.
I've been through it quicker since the roadworks though, seemed excessively bad today , and I was turning left to head towards the motorway

Their excuse is that they lack drivers. Doing 307 and 308 route in conjunction.
i never really trusted them anyway, they always had a bad reputation the green bus.'dublin bus' or something like that they are called, some of there drivers got caught for drink driving a few times.it was actually on the garda page. there is always some excuse,with them.
Heard their black driver that used to work in Aldi was given them grief.

Great to see Cllr /mayor finally saying road improvements are **** up around the dooradoyle & words had. They could resurface childers road good long section nearly over night without too much hassle but yet the cowboys they hired to do dooradoyle cant even do a smaller section of the road without taking months & when they do resurface it is job.like a dealz type quality job.
Are they not doing a lot more than just resurfacing Dooradoyle though or are we talking about 2 different bits of road
Ya i know extra with the footpath,i am talking about the progress.they managed to resurface very long stretch of childers road in less than a week, this crowd Are @ it a few months and they still havent finished, the amount of times they have dug and fill in the same bits of road again is unreal.
