Hi Guys I carried first 2 transfer of first 2 GW and I used 1FT earlier this week. I am just wondering if I dont use 2nd this week will I go have to 2 FT for GW4? I am quite happy with team for this week and would like to have 2 FT for GW4 as international break could be injuries C19 etc. Thanks

I think Aguero was 13M a few times. I pretty sure he was in 2015/16 when he scored 5 against Newcastle as there was debate as his value in the lead up.
Van Persie, Ronaldo and Henry were all 14m back in the day.

Even waiting for the week after the International break potentially, the rules are clear of red listed countries, but for amber it differs on vaccination status - so different rules for different players, and then need to consider what FIFA will do as Boris and co have more worry about then lads playing football at the moment.
Ideal time to use the wildcard in my opinion is after the first gameweek after the transfer window closes. That way you get to see if any of the new signings have dislodged your 4.0/4.5 defenders etc.

In the 13/14 season when he went goal mad he started at 11 million I believe. I think he dropped to 10.9 as he was suspended for the first 5 or 6 games as well.
By the end of that season he would have been around 12.2 or 12.3 I’d say. Then he left for Barcelona the following summer.

Regarding Ronaldo - do you think that he would pick City over United because at City he could demand more things - for example taking penalties - given they don't have a decent penalty taker, nor a decent striker, and so he could score more, and have better chance of winning trophies? Whereas if he went to United, Bruno is the establish penalty taker and that could cause issues?
Yeah they were. But I didn’t have Sturridge for the vast majority of the campaign and it killed me in the rankings.

Maybe there is an element of that. But Id say his main motivation of going to CIty is wanting to win one more CL and he feels Juve cant do it. The guy is obsessed with wanting the title of best ever player and another CL title puts him on 6 with Messi on 4. Saw his documentary recently and he seemed very concerned with winning the Euros with Portugal in 2016 because Messi had never won anything with Argentina (he has now though).
The other side is he seems to have a policy of not going back to clubs he was at before. Real wanted him and had the money but he issued a statement to the fans last week saying he made his history in Madrid and that its all in the museum in the form of trophies for the fans to enjoy. Basically thanks but no thanks.
Hardest decision that season was who to captain because there were weeks when Sturridge outscored Suarez. I actually think he did on the last day of the season for example.
yeah it was a mad run they went on and the amount of assists between them was crazy. Sterling also had a fantastic season that year as well.
Still mad to think as @[Deleted User] said that the overall winner of FPL that season had no Liverpool players in his team, presumably because other premium options at City & Chelsea were also performing very well. With two added premiums in Ronaldo and Lukaku this season maybe it will be similar. I've a sneaking feeling that in a few weeks time Bruno wont be seen as essential to own for many players.
Ben won in 16/17 when Liverpool assets were way less important.
It would have been impossible to win FPL in 13/14 without Liverpool players as they were THE team to own three assets from.
Yeah. I wasn’t sure. I did say ‘I think’ but I’m sure a couple of Liverpool players did well the year he won it because it was a thing to win it without any of their players.
Has everyone got their business done early this week or is anyone holding out to the deadline? I did Toney and Mahrez to DCL and Greenwood to avoid the DCL price rise. Liveramento has gone up to 4.1 last night meaning the 0.1m profit on Tsmikas is gone but it wasnt worth taking a -4 for. Will still have to sell Tsimikas to free up the third Liverpool slot but its not urgent, will do it next week provided theres no injuries from the international break.
