I doubt that is a legally bedroom unless they fire proofed the floor/ceiling, the stairs isn't enclosed with a fire door either.
There's an elephant in the garden, as opposed to one in the room, lol. 😂
Some things wouldn't be my taste for sure, but it's a beautifully kept house. I would love to know why they installed a bar. It reminds me of something Jack Duckworth did, many moons ago, in Coronation Street. It's very well done though. I think Jack just had something on a much smaller scale in a corner. 😂
ok?
Roll up, Roll up.
$60,000 can buy you this sweet 2 bed house in a prime city centre location.
I think the phorographer might have been drunk and love the way they tidied the place up before taking the pics.
Now the only small consideration is that this property is just off the infamous Kensington avenue. The below video is the saddest thing - filmed yesterday.

As the saying goes, “We don’t know we’re born here in sweet little Dublin”.
They meant
"Sunny courtyard to rear"
Erm...
That said, i do like the inside - but 265k for a BER G 1bed...
Oh sorry, I was commenting on the "I AM A MAN" sign on the wall!
That is a very nice house though. Looks like an academic/ creative person has owned it. Some lovely features, tiles, doors etc.
Does this house in Cavan have the lowest wall in Ireland?!

Maybe they took the bricks as well as the light bulbs with them when they moved out 🙄
Looks like there used to be a fence as part of the boundary and thats been removed

A nice enough house- it's kinda ruined by the neighbours though (photo 5).
Is that a dump or a quarry in the background?
There’s absolutely no need for the agent to use a fisheye lens on a house like this. It makes the spaces look ridiculous. Pictures 12 and 13 especially.
But I guess it’s so hardwired into their thinking that they don’t know any other way
I think it's a landfill. I believe it's being turned into a park but you never know where a council is concerned.
All the opulence and fancy photos .... and then the wonky washing machine with the shelf beneath it collapsing 😁
the ceilings!!!
Beautiful house though. I'd say the ceilings are easily removed if you don't like them.
Genuinely one of the most unusual things I've seen on here.
Oh I know, they should be painted magnolia, terrible altogether
I really like some of those ceilings, the sky one is particularly eye catching. It's only work in a large space like that though wouldn't it?
Wonder how many ppl have opened up umbrellas in there.. 😁
Oh yeah, pity about the streetview though, horrible looking estate outside
ah I think if you like them it would work in any space. Ive a mate who renovated a guest bedroom and just for a bit of craic put that sky & cloud decals on the ceiling. It is kind of funny waking up in the bed and seeing it first thing in the morning. But for me its more of a novelty thing that would tire quickly enough. He said the same, thats why they didnt do it in their own bedroom and they dont have it anywhere else in the house. But any guest that stays for a night in the bedroom gets a bit of a laugh out of it.
iirc he said Etsy is where he got it and theres any number of different designs/decals for ceilings there.
We viewed this house in February! Was up previously at €725k, was at €695k when we saw it, was then withdrawn from the market after another month or so. TBH some bits are lovely but some need a bit of work, and I think 90% of people with kids would end up ripping out that bar. Plus you don't see there are steps down from the footpath/gate to the front patio, and some more internal steps within the house itself (from the bar level down to the kitchen/living room level). As to why it hasn't sold in a strong market, the location is not really great with kids I think; the road/junction it is on is very busy, all the time.
Those ceilings are honestly absolutely shocking. Not sure it be a cheap or easy job removing and sorting out.
They could be painted over.
They look like glass, I thought?
Probably. But surely there's some sort of undercoat and then top coat that could sort them out without having to rip them down.
Or maybe they are just panels that can be unscrewed and removed.
