loud as fcuk boeing c-17a globemaster iii just flew over Ennis there. maybe it's coming from afghanistan?
There was one in earlier as well
Interesting watching what is flying in or around Afghanistan, here come the Turks in a huge transport aircraft to have a crack at landing at Kabul.
Is there any ATC operating, even??
The place is littered with humans running around, how on earth would you even start to land a plane there???
The Amercians used attack helicopters to sweep the runway clear for that now infamous flight earlier today. Maybe this is what will need to be done with every flight?
Brave pilots all the same!!
I see the flight disappeared off FR shortly after it entered afghan airspace, I presume that's down to lack of coverage or them switching systems off?
Eta - they're showing again
Not too many amateur ADSB receivers in that part of the world I’ll wager. Given the FIR is uncontrolled at the moment, they may have decided to switch off transponders too.
That video of the C17 taxiing with people crawling all over it is horrendous, and the one of people falling off it when airborne. Good thing those aircraft have the engines so high off the deck for FOD etc.
They mustn't have like the look of Kabul (and who would blame them!) - heading for Islamabad now.
Ryanair FR212 Stansted to Dublin has squawked the 77's and appears to be headed back to STN
Fly One Chisinau to Dublin just diverted to and landed in SNN.
Just heard something loud, looked up the trackers - AN12, UR-CTJ.
No origin/destination points though.
Very loud over North Dublin. According to Flight Radar, just appeared off Mayo Coast......
Ryanair Flight landed at east midlands with an incapacitate first officer earlier
Seems to be some sort of an air display on in Budapest this morning, lots of military over the city

Gives it gravel strip capability
It was the autopilot according to AVH.
I came across a flight from Limerick to Poznań a fortnight ago, landing just after 01.00 our time It was a Boeing 777-2U8, no reg, no country, It didn’t even give From to To information. I only followed it because I was dead curious, a sneaky flight with some drug baron delivering stuff that came in from South America (yeah, I read too many thrillers😁 ) Then I saw it was a big jet and saw sense, probably a cargo jet, but why wasn’t there any information on FR?
I would guess it was an Omni Air International charter operating for the US military.
The customer code in the type you give, “U8” corresponds to Kenya Airways, who no longer operate 777s according to Wikipedia, but did sell 2 777-200s to Omni a few years ago apparently.
Those Omni flights moving troops for the US military regularly have their info blocked on FR24, either for security or try to avoid protests from people who disagree with foreign militaries using Irish airports.
Thank you. So kind of cloak and dagger after all🙂🙂
Kinda, but not very unusual. Check out ADS-B Exchange if you’re not already aware of it, coverage and usability isn’t always as good as FR24, but they don’t censor aircraft details.
Shannon coastguard helicopter in a search pattern off the Kerry coast.
One of the sligo coast aswell
Aer Lingus UK A333 G-EILA about to land at Dublin after an air test. Callsign is EUK990 (Greenflight 990).
EUK990 went around as they did not see the lights - visibility has dropped.
Had been wondering what that was up to, thanks.
Now going to use runway 10R instead as visibility is good at that end. UPS 767F doing likewise.
Thats some nice "Columbo" work there
This flew over the other night, very loud
heard talk about the Russians off belmullet lately
That is a Ukrainian operator. Last time I checked, the two countries are not on the warmest terms.
Busy calibration flight in Dublin today.
