Not Ireland but interesting to see no Pukkelpop https://twitter.com/pukkelpop/status/1418492455742328832?s=19
Hard to see US acts travelling to Europe this year. The Offspring in November is the only US act I have tickets for
Genesis who are doing a tour of UK & Ireland Arenas and Elton John who is doing a similar run but has dates in Europe too
Still very very good chance all of these could be rescheduled/cancelled
Wait and see I suppose. Chances of gigs happening in the UK and not here are high
Yeah I've only gigs from Irish artists left this year. Not even sure will they go ahead but lot could change between now and autumn.
Any info on the September Genesis gigs, or is it still too early to call? Can't see it myself (no way to claw back tickets from the sold-out gig to allow for any social distancing), but ever hopeful!!
No word yet
On fan forums a bit of speculation with Dublin maybe rescheduled to when they possibly do a European arena tour and the UK gigs will go ahead as planned.Almost go over there to see them as I have a lot of gigs in 2022
There is no chance the Irish gigs will go ahead in September.
I think the UK gigs will be postponed too.
The other thing people are forgetting is the mess Bojo and the boys have made over UK bands wishing to tour the EU. From requiring one open-ended "carnet" (customs clearance documentation) for all borders, they now need to obtain a new seven-day carnet for every new country in Europe they plan on playing in
Yeah saw something about that
Older acts not affected much and they have all lobbied to get the requirements moved
The NYT had a big article about that week:
One interesting part of it is that a lot of music related businesses are apparently moving to Ireland to avoid the restrictions on the UK. Presumably a lot of staff being encouraged to claim EU passports if they can too, or soon to be replaced by Irish staff.

He really is a moany ****.
We don't agree on much here but very much agree with you on that statement
And the sun is hot
Bad Cop/Bad Cop rescheduled til next year
Didn't reallze Van and Eric were going out on tour together! Not wanting to get dodgy COVID info (and, who knows. maybe even the coronavirus iteslf!) rammed down my throat, I think I'll be giving it a miss! Did seem them both on stage before at Birmingham Odeon in August 1976 - it was the night EC made his infamous Enoch Powell outburst
What's the email address for refunds from Ticketmaster ?
Remembered completing a form on there site in the past but can't locate it now
I think that you do it through your Ticketmaster account now.
Login, select the relevant order and then click on "Need help with this order"
The old link was

Finally some fairly hopeful news. Fingers crossed

Yep good news alright but we have our own hurdles to get over here esp with our over cautious government/health officials
And more good news.
Does anyone have a phone for ticketmaster ireland I'm trying to contact them about a festival in England I want to get a refund from them but they don't reply to any emails at all.
They shut down the phone lines in Ireland and the UK from what I can see.
A cynical ploy to deter people from looking for refunds.
If the festival is in England you will need to contact Ticketmaster UK.
Login to Ticketmaster UK, select the relevant order and then click on "Need help with this order".
Its ridiculous like I keep contacting them but they don't get back to me at all. I got tickets for creamfields and I need to sell them or get listed for resale but they won't help me at all.
TM are notoriously hard to get refunds off.
I know they're orobably not much help, but the only suggestions I can offer are keep plugging away or try and sell the TX at cost on Toutless
Suppose it's most part to do with management etc (bands rescheduling tours) are 3Arena gigs in November/December 2021 a possibility
If the UK arenas can run successfully the next few months you'd never know
Given the huge costs involved in mounting major tours only to have to cancel dates due to lockdowns and changing social distancing regulations, it's going to be a while before we see big acts taking the plunge. Even then, they're only likely to do so if they can play gigs in several countries rather than just - say - the UK.
Think there's more chance of getting to see smaller acts in clubs like Vicar Street and Whelans, tbh. Assuming it was reasonably safe to do so, I would far rather go and see someone perform for an audience of knowledgeable fans in an intimate club setting than some past-their-sell-by dinosaur act in an enormodome.
WANTED - Reopening date with full capacity from 1st September 2021. The wider events sector needs to be supported now or this industry worth €3.5 billion to the Irish economy will be lost along with the brilliant SME’s and skilled workforce that has taken decades to cultivate.
First To Close. Last To Reopen. No Roadmap.

Left a comment. Is that all I need to do or is there a petition that should be signed?
Assuming gigs come back, has anyone any strong opinions on the issue of only allowing vaccinated people to attend?
If it's a question of that or no gigs, I think restricting admission is 100% the right thing to do.
Realistically we should be at 90% of all available people vaccinated by then, the only ones left either can't or won't get vaccinated, so leave it up to them if they want to go.
