Fairly sad outlook really.
Says the man crying because Dublin didn't have a ref ridiculously in their favour like they usually do. Since 2005 it's been the case. It's almost like the GAA wanted a return on their investment and the refs didn't want to upset the apple cart. The ref was actually more pro Dublin then Mayo today but at least it wasn't as bad as usual.
Yes, they had a shite first half. But from the second half on Mayo played like getting to a final was something worth fighting for and were the worthy winners.
Dublin just gave every other team watching a master class in how to be a sore loser.

I'm actually quite scared funding will be cut from other counties and redirected to Dublin. Can't have you lot losing now can we. The ref did his best to keep you in it, just like in leinster back in the 00's when you won multiple tight matches with thanks to a biased ref.
But yes I'll enjoy the final more now that 2 traditional honest counties will be playing. Obviously I don't want kerry winning with something like 37 already. Too much silverware for a single county in a 32 team championship. So Mayo it is. I'll be very disappointed if they lose.

Congratulations Mayo, a mighty comeback when everything seemed to be going wrong. Big credit must go to Horan and his team to take off a misfiring captain in AOS. Big call and his others changes worked well also.
It was disappointing to see allot of the great dublin players were all so used to, resort to that kind of behaviour. Kinda sullies allot of reputations. There persistence with the Keep ball Gavin tactics looks like it's holding them back to be honest. They should be building bigger leads when there on top instead of wasting time for a point. Plus it's terrible to watch and negative for the game in general.

i think whatever referee and officials are in receipt of that assignment will sit down and be very strong with each other as regards not wanting to leave the pitch having put on a shîtshow of a performance like Lane & Co today...All Ireland final, their reputations could or would be in tatters like Lane and Co. now.
that said, Mayo tactics today were drilled, planned and were not just agreed out there... can they go out and play it straight, fair to beat one of two other talented Kerry or Tyrone outfits ? Doubtful....no in fact... it’s pretty much muscle memory what they get up to.....
It's a tough defeat to take. Look, there clearly is huge delight in seeing Dublin beaten, pity the Mayo ladies didn't win earlier also. This is nothing personal against Dublin people, it's just honest Gaels don't appreciate the way Dublin have been operating for 2 decades now. That's all.
It is not acceptable to say it but I really felt when Dublin were winning a fair few dodgy decisions went against them. Thought the ref leaned towards keeping the game alive. But too much anger and loathing here for that view not to be spat at of course.
I don't think Kerry will be able to deal with Mayo's physicality.
Dublin came out today and hit Mayo as hard as I have seen anyone hit Mayo.
They did what Mayo used to do to people back in the 2010s.
But it only lasted 35 minutes.
Then Mayo took over and did the hard hitting.
Kerry would be doing well to live with that.
