Just wondering, would anyone here take the 3070ti over a 3070 even if prices were about the same, given the higher power draw for the ti but not much difference in FPS rates according to tests shown by several youtubers?
Yeah the 3070 Ti is a bad card.
Of course, it's still a better card.
3070 available in currys btw, crap price, but for those who don't want to wait or buy from abroad: https://www.currys.ie/ieen/computing-accessories/components-upgrades/graphics-cards/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-3070-8-gb-aorus-master-graphics-card-10218741-pdt.html
Over 1k for a 3070, they're taking the piss!
If you dont like it, there is a 1660 for 500 too. Lets see if the stock sits there at those prices or goes.
I had some FOMO fever and ordered a 3070 Ti on Amazon for over £900. It's due to arrive in a couple of weeks, but definitely put off by the PSU requirements and the price compared to a 3080 so thinking of cancelling it now.
Honestly, a 3060 Ti or a 3070 would be my preference if I could get one.
I'd definitely cancel that order. TheRover just picked up a 3080 for that price. Makes no sense to pay the same money for a 3070ti.
My 3060Ti has been RMA'd and looks like it's going to take 5 weeks to turn around! Managed to get a 3080 TUF bundle on Asus.de for €1,100 that includes a mouse, webcam and mousemat.
Those bundles are awesome! Thought they only shipped to Germany tho?
3060 on Amazon for £653. Only 1 left.

Not sure if it's a bargain. I'm looking from something a bit lower down the pecking order tbf.
No, that's a terrible price. They're way cheaper in Germany.
and for an additional 250 they have a 3070Ti from amazon. crazy prices direct from amazon though. 1 Left

And also found some pre orders for Palit 3090's on amazon.de for €2,199.00 In stock 16th August apparently

Not a bad price for a 3080 TI at computer universe, €1.478,63 with shipping and Irish VAT

It's the entry Gigabyte model, but still pretty decent
That's about as cheap as they get at the moment. All the 2-pin cards are completely power limited, so not much difference between brands in actual performance.
A few 3080TI available at Dodax for €1330

So I managed to order an ASUS Dual RTX OC 3070 from amazon.de last night for €799.90 - most will probably think it's still grossly overpriced but it's a better deal imho than most offers around atm.
Only found it after using a site that tracks prices and availability from German stores : geizhals.de
It's not a 3 fan design, but reviews seem to be good - it's an OC version so a slightly better clock speed and a little better than an FE card, and I'd only be worried about not getting a 3-fan design like strix or tuf if I was planning to overclock the card.
Just be aware it's a Lite Hash Rate card so if you're into crypto & ethereum mining look elsewhere...
It still appears to be in stock and the link is below, just click on the 'to offer' button to take you direct to the page on amazon Germany.

As its sold via the ASUS store you'd have to go to the asus storefront on amazon.de first and search from there or just use the link above.
Usually, but I just setup an account on mailboxde and it's currently on its way to Ireland after being handed over to GLS.
And this seems very odd, from that pre order link for the 3090 there is an OC version used for €882🤨
Almost certainly a scam. The price is stupidly below market value. The seller has a few positive feedback comments...all from 2015/2016. Probably an old dormant merchant account that got hacked.
So it looks like my RMA'd card isn't going to take the 28 days to come back to me as Scan sent out a replacement from their own stock instead of sending to manufacturer. I'm going to have a 3060Ti and a 3080 all arriving tomorrow. What would be non-pisstake prices to sell (one of) these for? They're both LHR fwiw.
RRP + 50 (assuming they are custom cards) although depending on who you sell them to, they might end up on Adverts the same day for +300 😅
What one are you keeping?
Whatever one gets here quickest! I've been using a 2gb GT1030 for a couple of weeks and it's painful!
If you're selling the 3080 give me a shout.
I've a 3070 so I'll let that go for a reasonable price as well.
I would take the 3060ti or 3070,
still holding on Radeon 7950, but prices are finally falling, can see one in my reach next few months
this must be a scam?

Yes
Rover I just ordered a Gainward 3080 from Dodax a couple of days ago. Did your card arrive ok and how long did it take?
I cancelled it when I decided I'd rather pay a bit more for a 3080TI. On the negative side, the cancellation was like 4 days after ordering and they hadn't shipped it yet. On the positive side, the money was back on my cc the next day (unlike that viking disaster).
Well Rover, I was on to Dodax today as to where my card was. Guess what, they cancelled my order once I enquired about it. They said that they had hoped to source it somewhere else but it was out of stock, so they decided today to cancel my order. I then went onto PCKING.de and they were showing 6 Gainward 3080s for €1100 and when I tried to order from them the order completed and then they sent me an email saying the card is out of stock! WTF is it with retailers selling gear that they've no hope of getting stock for....
