Surely if you are factually claiming that any cop can spot someone who is an illegal within a 10/15 minute conversation, you would want to discuss why it isn't the case for someone who is in the country illegally and working in a cop bar for 20 years.
Once that is done we can talk about your deflection attempt given you are a law and order supporter who is suddenly complaining about someone being arrested for breaking the law.
My question was about your statement claiming someone here had posted that 'insurrections were brandishing weapons' in the Capitol. Following on the post you quoted was a nice list of weapons found on insurrectionists.
So, do you agree, no one on this thread stated people were brandishing weapons in the Capitol, but many of them were in fact armed? Bear mace and sticks count.

I've been following this thread for a while. Hey guess what, I also Live In the USA just like one of the regular posters does (and him/her being the ardent supporter of Trump).
How on earth, anyone, who was watching and saw what was happening with their own eyes on January 6th, can defend Trump and deride the police officers is beyond me.
My husband texted me to tell me what was going on, to warn me how bad it was. "They are attacking the capitol building", he said. "It's bad". I switched on in work and nearly felt sick. This was America. Attacking the democratic institution, the very foundation and fundament of what a "great" state should be. I went home after work and cried while watching tv for the evening.
Starting with Charlottesville, a load of things in between, and then Jan 6th, Donald Trump damn near drove America to civil war.
And he is not done yet.
Here is hoping that between DeSantis, Trump, Marjorie looper face, VenmoGaetz and others, the republican party ends up canibalising itself in terms of candidate for the 2024 Presidency.

Multiple reasons why they do, some of which would be impolite to say, but the underfunding and cutting of mental health services in the States under successive administrations and especially the last one would have to be a factor.

To be fair, if I was in that position, I wouldn't name a family member (especially as we can now link a politician to a fathers beliefs), but then I wouldn't mention about a politician son in the first place which seemed a pretty stupid thing to do, I try and let my arguments stand by themselves and not claim "I'm a doctor/scientist/economist/immunologist" as some posters do :)

Given that you told us where she's from, how many siblings she has and what they do, it would take a stalker only a matter of minutes to narrow down who she is. If you were concerned at all about your daughter's safety and wellbeing, you probably shouldn't have stated all that information on a public forum and used your daughter as leverage to make up for your own lack of political knowledge.
If you were concerned at all you wouldn't be making statements in a publicly accessible website about any of your children. It's not like some people can't find out if the statements you made are true or not.

The argument that racism is a mental illness has a lot of people laying arguments for and against it. It has been used as a defence for attacks in courts over there. Personally I think that it isn't.
My reasoning for this is that plenty of sane people are bigoted, or as you say racist, just because they are a scumbag and plenty of people who have mental health issues aren't in anyway bigotted.
My point in relation to mental health would be based around the trump supporters who are big believers into the most obviously unbelievable conspiracy theories like the Sandy Hook shooting being a false flag operation, the whole Q and proud boys sh1t shows and any other bullsh1t t spouted from the same con artists and the likes of trump around race or religion simply because they are off their meds.
