To be fair the vast majority of christmas films would be family ones anyway, and with the exception of the 2 I've mentioned (& the family man) would watch the remainder with the whole family ourselves. Just too many ones on the list I know as a family we wouldn't watch again.
I was thinking of family movies to watch with the kids so that is probably why it appealed to me. Minus the obvious ones you mentioned.
Funnily enough I was looking at it & thinking there are far too many on that list I wouldn't watch. Looks more of a kids list (other than Bad Santa & Love actually) for me.

Great list, I did an excel sheet of all the movies and Christmas tv shows I had (or had access to). I think there was close to 50. Anyway we printed them off cut into individual slips, then put them in an advent calendar. We only got around to watching a handful so there are still loads in the calendar. The short ones like the original Grinch or tv Christmas special were doubled up into one day.
I still haven't seen The Family Man!! 😨
I'm going to go through my Christmas DVD collection in a while, and order from Amazon any I don't have and want to watch- I don't like depending on streaming services and TV schedules for my favourite few.

I'm sure there'll be others, but they'll form the spine of the build up I suspect.
You can't go too far wrong with anything that has Tim Allen, IMO.
Must start making my list of festive films to watch this year soon. 😁
