Yeah I'll be specifically asking for no window sticker. If they put one on it'll be the first thing removed.
There are no stupid questions! You’ll find it under Vehicle>Exterior>Central Locking>Door Unlocking. The screenshots might help you find it.
Yea, at least the stickers come off easily enough.
But hate the advertising numberplates, on the ID.3/4 they overhang the front bracket and spoil the design line under
Easy enough changed I presume? They're a screw in job?
Presume so, but most garages now aware that many ask for the plain ones.
My dealer (Wexford Volkswagen) didn’t try to upsell me anything (insurance, service packs, overpriced cables). I’ll probably pick up a service pack in a month or two once I get used to the PCP payments. Am thinking about getting mudflaps though. Saw these guys mentioned on the UK idforums website -
Their stuff looks well made and nicely designed so might give them a spin.
I didn’t get our car in wexford but did enquire there and found them good to deal with.
They were great. I got the car I wanted in the colour I wanted three weeks after ordering. Told them I only wanted one that was in stock in Ireland. Got lucky I guess. Ended up paying 36.9 for a 145bhp Family in Stonewashed Blue. Delighted with it.
Just spotted that the PCP is 5.9% on the Family now. No way I would have pulled the trigger on that.
I just replied to your PM.
I ordered the stonewashed blue, what Colour is the one you ordered ? if it's grey I think I'd pass, don't think I could handle having another greay car lol.
But I will email the dealer tomorrow. To see what's going on.
Do you know something I don't ? lol did the dealer contact you because I've heard nothing, I must contact him tomorrow.
Don't forget Ionity, it's more expensive, sure, but they have 4 chargers on site and it's worth to pay more than to wait in a queue.
Just had an email yesterday morning. Hopefully you’ll hear something tomorrow.
Lol, it's the dark grey...
Don’t forget to ask about the SSE Airtricity €675 credit. I can’t include the link but details are on the website
Ah no, Jaysus, lol.
Why so many Grey and silver cars ? 😥 😁
I'm still wondering about this because their rates per Kwh are not that cheap day/night. ?
Energia have seemingly got rid of their cheap night rate now nearly double what it was and there's a 3rd tariff now peak to screw people even more. I knew these smart meters would only benefit the energy companies completely contrary to what was promised to us.
We changed a few weeks ago. Couldn't get any good out of Energia,(Was with them). Went with Bord Gais, not great, about 8 and 16c/kWh IIRC incl VAT. A pain having to change every year..
If that Airtricity thing comes through it'll be fantastic.
My electric bill for the last calendar year is only about €900 now post solar install so it'll be down to damn all.
Our annual bill is currently around 1500 so eir tri city looks like a good deal to me.
What’s the deal with the airtricity deal. Can you move as soon as your credit is used or are they spreading it out over months ?
Be careful of the small print in that Airtricity deal. They're sneaky feckers.
12 month contract I’d imagine.
Anyone wrapped the gloss black bits in their car yet?
There's a cover available on Amazon for the centre console part but nothing yet for the door areas.
Do you have a link to that cover?
These are on Amazon UK
And a cheaper version:
Which part?
Ah,no particular bit, but they do tend to have sneaky terms and conditions.
Dealer emailed me back, car is built since 29th June and it's not going anywhere any time soon. Still waiting for parts.
Sick of it now really at this stage I won't have it until September I'd say probably end of, he did say the factory is closed for next 2 weeks. F1cking closed and they're up to their eyes with backlogs.......
If it's a supply backlog (microchips) then I think it's only fair that the plant gets its agreed holidays and maintenance. Building two weeks more cars to add to the pile of ones waiting on parts isn't going to help much
Makes little sense to me to still be pushing the car (and it's sibling) so heavily though marketing and offers with such a huge backlog to get through. Puts dealers in an awkward spot with trade ins. Annoys customers.
I ordered early June for a Sept delivery, unlikely to make that now given the build week is mid-Sept. At this point, I've given up hope of having it this year and even if it comes, will probably hold off until 2022.
That’s a shame. I hope it won’t be much longer. The boats seem to arrive every two weeks.
