Just wondering why theres a helicopter flying over the city at this time at night
The rescue chopper was out around the river.
No Sproai during the August Bank Holiday is still a very weird feeling
What's happening with Sproai this year actually ? I knw they have a few pop up props around the town
I saw they were doing some on the Greenway. They have some sort of programme for the city. Not surely what the extent of it will be.
Also I've noticed this sub has gone deathly quiet since the boards update
Havent been down in Waterford in a while but am down this weekend for a few days
Enquiring about a gym
Usually went to Ben Dunne or Goldstone via 'pay as you go'
Is Ben Dunne closed? Rang number a few times and busy
Any other new gym open in last while that do pay as you go?
The Waterford County forum is very quiet, so thought I might get better hits here but as above very quiet in here these days too! I'm considering buying a house in Dungarvan and due to view a couple of houses in Town Court. Anyone know much about this estate? There seem to have been a few houses up for sale there recently. Coming from Dublin for the viewing it's difficult for me at the moment to check the area out at different times of day.
Again as a Dubliner, I know there are parts of Dublin I would absolutely not consider moving to due to anti-social behaviour etc, would there be anywhere in Dungarvan that would be less preferable?
What has happened to the Waterford City forum? Since the down period and new site coming live the forum has been dead! 😌
The whole of boards has been dead since the upgrade but the Waterford forum literally died overnight went from being a very active forum everyday to more than a handful of posts a week
It's as good as dead now imo. There's a lot of people joining r/Waterford on reddit.
Boards.ie really screwed the site with the upgrade. The site was x1000 times better before the upgrade :( I think Boards is doing a death nowadays unfortunately, I used to really like this site and I wish nothing but the best for Boards.ie. This site was here for me before Reddit was even invented.
r/Waterford will start to gain some traction so hopefully, that can become the 'go to' place for information/discussion about Waterford.
In other news, does anyone have a suggestion for the best place in Waterford to get some donuts?
unfortunately the change over seems to have been a disaster, hopefully its resolved eventually, the forum is a great resource
donuts, place in tramore does some great ones
I've always loved the donuts from Donut Cabin. They used to be in the Phoenix Yard, but I'm not sure where they are now. You'll find them on facebook and can order there.
Recommend me a nice place to get coffee/hot chocolate in Waterford today. Usually go to ‘Under the clock’ when I’m passing through , and which I can highly recommend , but not usually passing through on Sunday and it’s closed today. Thanks

Hi
Is there a ‘Jack and Jones’ shop in Waterford?
Jack and Jones website says no, but just double checking in case site not up to date etc.
I know its Christmas but i dont think I’ve ever seen the traffic as bad around Waterford literally everywhere you go there is tailbacks!
Not that I know of, there was one years ago.
I thought there was one in George's Street or at least that's where one was!
I think that's Evolution now, used to be Jack & Jones
Evolution was Jack Jones. Yup.
so Charlie's on the way!
Am I right in saying that former Man UTD manager Frank o Farrell lodged somewhere around Ballybricken during his time working for CIE?
the carpark(the quay) was briefly mentioned at the beginning of mcwilliams latest podcast, it really must go!
Waterford looks to address congestion by diverting traffic away from the city centre. On Saturday 1 May Lord Mayor of Waterford Councillor Tom Browne officially opened a new road linking Ballytruckle with the Tramore Road,
