Probably Susanne Kane
Who is filling in for Mairead. Heard a bit, terrible.
I thought mairead was bad. Her replacement today is the absolute pits
Meh I don't see what the issue is, 2,50c is cheaper than a lotto ticket and a lot of people on old legacy payg price plans are always looking for ways to get rid of unwanted phone credit
I agree but just don't enter. As you can see it a ploy by the new owners. It only makes sense if they are making money. If people stop entering it will stop quickly.
Yes they are.
Aren't they all owned by Bauer Media now?
Yep its annoying its not just todayfm. Across the lot of these Today FM, Newstalk, 98FM, SPIN 1038 and SPIN South West.
Yeah, having one a week now is overkill
I got a notification through the app to enter the €30k competition.
Anyone else getting really pissed off with the downright grifting that's going on across Today Fm and Newstalk with the money competitions they've been running over the last few weeks? €2.50 each time to enter, it's a pure money grab by them. I dont mind if they want to run the odd competition that brings them in money but the amount of time that's been pumped into this now is a bit sickening.
That’s really irresponsible of him. That’s put me right off him. I’ve always liked him as he’s come across as a decent sort of guy but I’m disappointed in him.
Just listened back to that bit. Jesus, it was shocking
He can be cynical if he likes, but it’s unprofessional to be fanning the flames for the anti-vaxxers.
Twice now I've heard Dermot claim the Covid vaccines are untested. He's currently discussing the science behind tapping

As regards presenters, that would be Ian Dempsey, Alison Curtis, Claire Beck and Phil Cawley. Behind the scenes you have John Caddell. I don't know if Newstalk and Off the Ball's John Duggan still crops up on on Today FM. Other than that, I think that's it unless you can think of others!

She used to present an arts magazine type show on Phantom (TXFM's previous guise) called The Kiosk. There are not many left from Phantom/TXFM that are still involved with Today FM.Up until recently, Claire Beck was presenting some programs. I'm not sure if she is still there. John Caddell, who was PD and presenter on TXFM, is Assistant Programmer and Content Director. He turns up on The Last Word as a music contributor. Esther Moore O'Donoghue, who did a brief stint as a presenter on TXFM and the only one mentioned here who did not go back to Phantom, is still doing AA Roadwatch traffic reports as far as I know. One person who goes back to Phantom, but not TXFM, is Alison Curtis who is still there on Today FM. I think that's it - AFAIK Cathal Funge is no longer involved with Today FM.

I would easily turn off the tv on s Sunday & listen to his show - 10pm is just too late. 7-10pm on a Sunday night, and the format was great - WHY DID THEY HAVE TO CHANGE IT!!! I don't want to bash Pamela - she is doing a great job, but the type of chat and music doesn't suit the Sunday evening audience. Give her a day time slot or weekend daytime, but Sunday nights is just not the slot. Correct me if I am wrong, but before Ed, we had Nadine O'Regan and she used to do interviews and play songs in relation to the interviews a few years ago.
