Roughly what merit position were you?
I’m 20-40 on the merit list. My vetting took almost 9 months, had an interview with the vetting unit in that time too. Been appointable for a month now so I’m delighted it’s done!
The merit list means nothing now in a way of speaking. It's more of when you are appointable you'll get called
Do you have an number for OHW? Recruitment told me there was no phone number.. I’ve already told recruitment who forwarded my email to OHW for a reply ASAP, that was last week, and I haven’t had a response from OHW in 4 weeks

OHW do not take calls. I emailed and asked them to call me, they phoned about an hour later
That’s what I was told too, I’ve asked them to call these past few weeks and haven’t had anything.. do genuinely think they’re just ignoring me lol

It's all run very poorly isn't it...I'm not sure what else you can do tbh. Recruitment should be pressing the issue on your behalf

I can confirm they do take calls as I have contacted them several times. Ask to speak with someone who deals with pre-employment

haven’t been as active since I received the call a while back. Congrats to everyone who received theirs this morning. Still a long road ahead but amazing the recruitment side is finally finished.
good luck to everyone still completing the managed stages, it’s a long process but you do get there in the end!

Hey!! I was offered an august start but due to get married in September. They couldn’t give me the day off because it fell on a day that was too important to miss! I was also told that you’ll be in some Saturdays so will depend on how it fits in with the schedule. Call recruitment and let them know and they will get back to you pretty quickly

Passed my medical and SMT, fully appointable now. Its been a long process, so relieved to have passed all stages.
Has anyone ever had issues passing managed stages due to mental health issues in their past?

HI ALL, it's all very quiet in here! 😉 How are yous all doing? Wondering to hear how long it took to hear your medical results and then the timeframe afterwards, i.e., times between medical results (being appointable) and getting the call, times between getting the call and a starting date in GV). From what i am gathering, it's roughly 1 month and a half from getting the call to starting in GV. How are yous all getting on? xx
