Massive activity drop off it seems since the new format
Guys i know for a fact this is a long and lonely journey especially for those a bit further down the list keep chatting!
I think most of the active characters have finally got in to GV- and they may have just never looked at this again (can't blame them might myself after clicking on it 100 times a day lol)
Anyone else waiting a bonkers amount of time for vetting? Or are people still getting the nice and quick 2 week passes that have been posted in a few times?

I still keep an eye on this thread but honestly, GV is so full on that I don't really have time to interact with it as much as I once did. My inbox is always open if anyone has specific questions - though I may have to be circumspect in how much detail I can give!
Vetting away 41 weeks…still no word. I’ve started looking elsewhere now as no correspondence is driving me crazy.

Have you emailed recruitment for an update? I’ve seen some people say on here that when they do that they get a response. It’s a long time that!
This gets nothing more than an "its ongoing" reply, they can't/won't give any more info

Hi everyone!! Ive been following the forum for about a year now, thankful for all the tips people post and so proud of everyone who has passed.
Wondering if anyone has ever had issues with their medical, and if OHW ignore you until they exhaust the merit list before failing you? I done my medical 4 months ago, and stupidly my dr didn’t tick one of the boxes (and stupidly I didn’t just tick it for them), now I’ve had to go through a whole hooha of providing extra medical information and can’t seem to get an update from OHW or recruitment. Has anyone experienced this or know of others who’ve had to provide more info and just stopped being responded to?
I wanna stay hopeful, but there’s opportunities coming up in my current job that I don’t want to miss if I’m waiting on an email!

I had a bit of an issue myself. Doctor had written about a 3 year gap in my record. OHW stupidly read this as my Dr ONLY had records for this 3 year period and nothing else which meant I had to go out of my way to get the records covering the gap, submit the records and explain to them how it was them who had read what my Dr had written incorrectly. Thankfully it resolved the issue and they passed me about a week after that. It may be worth emailing them for an update or email asking them to call you on your personal phone to chat about the issue and the delay.

Was on the same boat and had to wait a long time throughout medical process. Best bet is to give OHW a call for an update and if they cannot assist, call recruitment and state how long you have been waiting etc...
