Got 149 for 53kg on Monday. Also got 160 for 83kg ewes. If we could keep going like that....

Watching Kenmare this evening while having the spud. Anything nice was making that and some lots were fetching €2.9/kg with nice ewe lambs hitting €3/kg. The odd light frame/boned lamb were still making €2.40/kg.
Fermoy this morning is still a great trade for butcher lambs. 56kg made €160.
That might be what they are worth but they are making much more than that. Easily pay €90 for lambs that weight in mart . Makes no sense but that’s what they are making
