There was such a nice breeze outside earlier but yeah highs of 24/25 again today.
Think I'm a little dehydrated despite drinking nearly 2 litres of water before I went to bed.
Was watching the Olympic Street skateboarding...massive tricks and Jagger Eaton skating with his iPhone and airpods.... setting his tunage to his runs... brilliant stuff altogether
I saw that was on tonight, must have been fun. I'm on fifth litre here since about twelve hours ago!
Amazing how lazy one can get locked in a hotel room, worked literally everyday last week so enjoyed some nice catch up sleep. Super long days tomorrow and again on Friday, then Iβm done.
When I first woke at 7.45 it was lovely and overcast and breezy and I thought 'phew, that oppressive heat and humidity is over us at last'. Apparently not. Went back to bed for a little snoozums and now it's as bright and oppressive as ever. Usually this is the part Ireland that gets the least of the the really hot weather -starts later,never gets as hot as elsewhere and finishes earlier. This time round it seems we are getting it longer than everyone else. I won't say I'll be sorry to see the end of it. It's great for a few days if you've got nothing pressing to do and nowhere to go and can keep cool, but after that it's just a hindrance to getting on with normal life. All my energy is diverted into staying cool which means doing nought and watching chaos build around me. Pleased I didnt chuck out my lovely long sun dresses that hadn't seen a wear with about 5 years though! They keep me lovely and cool.
Yeah, it's hitting 21Β° now ... the humidity really ramped up last night, I'm up since 4am...not hugely different to my normal routine bar I was only wearing slippers for the first 3 hours ππ
