It is a bit better on mobile. There is a little cog on the Forum you want to follow and for threads, there is a star. On desktop, there is only the bookmark thing just about the page numbers bit top right.
There is another update coming to help with that.
Yeah click the bookmark icon on the top right of a page, it's above the page count. The thread will then appear in bookmarks under your profile.
The functionality is broadly the same once you get the hang of it, "Follow Thread" has been replaced by "Bookmark", and then for browsing, "My Discussions" on the old site has been replaced by "Bookmarks.
The new "My Discussions" is useless and confusing people

All the threads I was subscribed to was in my Bookmarks except one thread. All I do now is click my profile picture to the right and then bookmarks and then once there all the new posts are numbered by how many new posts are there.
Tbh the website has still not fully recovered from the week it was down and the changes. Regarding number of new posts in the threads I'm subscribed to.
The recovery is good to see but it does seem to be a bit stuck. Hopefully, it can hold and grow on the back of some of the better stories around now. Something big like Tesla taking Bitcoin again could trigger a run. But I feel like the influence of Elon has subsided.
Interestingly during the B word debate Jack was pressing Elon for Tesla to take Bitcoin and Elon asked him when Twitter was going to accept it. A very fair point, if he is all in on Bitcoin why don't they. He seemed to fumble around it and never gave a clear declaration.
