How can a law be physical? Spouting nonsense to be fair.
You were dragged over the coals on this one, and yet you still bang on about it. Effort doesn't make up for the fact that you are wrong.
No I said,it's an opinion
There are 100's of 1000's of words in any dictionary for use with that opinion
One which I will not reaffirm for any of you because its not my opinion
The lads are reduced to memes and gifs.
Thou must not use ordinary descriptive terms when discussing FG!.
Des O'Malley, who has sadly died, is being elevated to political statesmanship atm (turfed out of FF and vilified by FG). It's how the power swap circles the wagons. The lads are doing their bit for Varadkar here.
You are the one that said the explanation from the dictionary doesn't mention varadkar so you are dismissing it. Talk about arrogance and stretching. All I can see is you twisting yourself into knots trying to excuse varadkars behaviour. Have to admire your blind loyalty, reminds of my old dog and how loyal he was.
Why did he send the document to your mans gaff, when the nagp headquarters are across the road from the dail?
Like yous excuses ,sinoly deosnt stand up yo scrutiny in face of facts and logic
There is 'stretching' going on here alright. Not to mention some squirming.
How can it be baseless,if he's admitted to it🤔
Thats quite a stretch
It's beyond this world (Star Trek theme again) to witness this.
I was just seeing where the explanation came from because A poster above said it didn't mention Varadkar by name. So now for FG to accept a meaning of Corruption it must contain Varadkars name. The arrogance knows no bounds.
From a dictionary. Not the same one you are used to, obviously.
FFS the whole process he engaged in was riddled with 'dishonesty'.
'Dishonesty' in not informing anyone. 'Dishonesty' in giving an organisation knowledge they had no entitlement to and 'dishonesty' in owning up to it, resulting in an unseemly apology in the Dáil for 'his actions'.
Put the FG dictionary away blanch and come back to the real world.
If the motivation was Similar to Vradakar (ie using all gambits to get the gp deal implemented by as many gps as possible)
Then I personally wouldn't
I'd just go Sigh..here we go again
But its unlikely short cuts like this will ever be used again
The precedent that they're frowned upon has been set
The exact same sharing of that document to the exact same person? No.
If you are thinking of something similar, you will have to expand, as not all circumstances are the same.
But you would see it as dishonest if say an SF politician did it?
Can you say where you got that explanation of Corruption?
It is your opinion. I see nothing dishonest in what Varadkar did. He shared a document for legitimate governmental reasons in good faith, nothing dishonest about it. That is my opinion.
I can see clearly that posters who present their opinions as fact are the ones being dishonest.
Doesn't mention Vradakar in that,or any context, so yeah it is (your opinion)
This is not 'my opinion'.
Corruption : dishonest or illegal behavior especially by powerful people (such as government officials or police officers)
Thats your opinion
You don't seem satisfied with just the Vradakar dis likers reaffirmation of it
Tough Titty 🤣
Is 'oh look, a squirrel!' an option?
Let's ask you a question that hasn't been asked then.
What Varadkar did was dishonest and that dishonesty is being assessed to decide if it was 'illegal behaviour'.
Why do you object to abuse of power and trust (which leaking a document undoubtedly is) being called 'corruption'?
Read the thread
Its a baseless accusation
I've already said why
Its been ignored
He has to borrow the FG dictionary from blanch. 😀
Are you going to answer the question or just runaway from it?
LOl.. your opinion?
You call an abuse of power and trust that had to be apologised for in the Dáil and the subject of a lenghty Garda Criminal Investigation a 'storm in a teacup'?
There really does exist a FG dictionary of terms.
In this particular case, the sharing of a document by the then Taoiseach, in the general sense, a storm in a teacup, in the sense in which it has been mentioned on these boards - an unhealthy, nasty obsession with the Tanaiste.
Runs away again. Gas. I'll ask one more time.
What do you call it when somebody abuses the power and the trust vested in them to such an extent that they have to to apologise for it in the Dáil?
