I don't see anyone pretending anything!! Vaccine passports are happening. They're a bit like real passports except they only let you prove you're vaccinated, and they're hard to fake.
I imagine from your tone that you disapprove! Can you explain your concerns?

No. Been following these threads since the beginning. Vaccine passports have been openly discussed.
The conspiracy/Covid denial slant has been fearmongering that they have some ulterior nefarious motive, likewise with everything, from masks to lockdown. Which no one has ever demonstrated this here.
I haven’t been following this thread, so I’m coming from the perspective of Coronavirus general poster. They were very much hand waved away six months ago there.
Whether or not there’s an ulterior motive, I consider the concept inherently nefarious on its own. Guess that’s a separate conversation though.
Why?
We need a Covid test to get into most countries for obvious reasons, and there's still a risk involved in that. It only makes sense that fully vaccinated people can pass through borders (or go to e.g. large events). So even from a normal discussion level it makes practical sense.
From a conspiracy perspective it makes zero sense.
I suspect you disapprove because of stuff you may have seen on web sites that promote a conspiracy viewpoint.
If you check it out for yourself you should be able to verify that the whole thing is just a secure way to encode your name, dob, date of vaccination, etc., into a QR code (like a barcode), which you can then carry on paper, or as a picture in your phone.
The data for this is assembled by our own government, who generate the QR code and send it to you. There is no EU central database with citizens data. There is, however, a central EU 'key' that is issued to each government to use to 'lock' the details. This makes it very difficult to create a fake vaccine passport, and allows an airport in another country to verify the details on it haven't been changed (works a bit like the secure lock symbol in your browser).
Look it up for yourself, and see if your concerns are justified!
They arent even vaccine passports really, they are 'I have been vaccinated, have had covid or have had a recent negative test' passports.

Perhaps then, if it makes perfect sense, you could explain why the figures for positive tests for fully vaccinated people are at 15,537 (up 40%) in last 7 days compared to new unvaccinated cases of 17, 588 (down 40%) for last 7 days.
Furthermore, according to Public Health England stats, vaccinated covid deaths are 990% higher than unvaccinated deaths. In real terms terms, 68% of covid deaths since Feb 21 were of fully vaccinated patients. 116 compared to 71 unvaccinated deaths.
Not exactly the freedom cocktail we were promised.
Babies lost during pregnancy after vaccinating the mother stands at over 2400 this year. Up nearly 4000% over the yerly average.
2000 deaths in the US in the last week, within 7 days of vaccination. Total deaths due to vaccination is higher than all other vaccines combined for the last 11 years.
A Canadian, Dr Charles Hoffe, has tested his patients that received the mRNA gene therapy, has discovered that 62% are developing blood clots blocking the microscopic capillaries in the lungs using the the D - dimer test. Death, he stated is " guaranteed " probably within 2 years.
At what point, will you actually look at figures published by the CDC, MHRA, PHE, VEARS etc and actually draw the obvious conclusion that we've been sold a lie.
The worst is clearly ahead of us.

The reason that most people testing positive in the UK have been vaccinated, and most people ending up in hospital in the UK, and most people dying in the UK have been vaccinated is really very simple.
Most adults in the UK have been vaccinated.
It has long been forgotten that more US Soldiers died from the Spanish flu vaccine than the disease. The enemy often joked " they're killing more than us".
And that is just the codes being used for international travel.
The talk today in the UK of needing a "covid passport" to be able to go to nightclubs from September is really just a motivation to try and get 18-30 year olds to turn up for their jabs ASAP. I'd expect the system to be quietly dropped the week before it's due to launch because of some complications with the implementation, but mostly they don't care about vaccination status for people going clubbing. They just need a carrot to be dangling in front of reluctant groups to get them to turn up and get jabbed.

Now then, why did UK gov ignore their own advisors and go to full lockdown one week after the downgrade of Covid 19, Even the WHO advised against lockdowns back in Nov 20. Any takers, or just more conspiracy diatribe.
